We stayed for 4 days with our adult children and significant others. The cabin was perfect for our purposes, centrally located, nicely furnished, well appointed kitchen. The interior has been thoughtfully remodeled with nice finishes.

We’d love to welcome you back anytime for another getaway—perhaps for another family gathering or just some relaxing downtime. Thank you again for staying with us!
This is a very nice cabin in a good location with a well appointed kitchen, a very comfortable living room, with lots of seating, pillows, and blankets! We especially enjoyed the combo heater/electric fire. The outdoor area is also nice, with a great deck, and there are several games you can play (horseshoe, cornhole). A few suggestions: We recommend bringing your own hand soap for the bathrooms along with Kleenex, shampoo, etc. Would also bring your own keurig pods since there were none, although a full drawer of them is shown in the listing

Hi Mallory,
Thank you again for the kind words about the cabin. We’re so glad you enjoyed the location, the living room, the combo heater and electric fire, and the outdoor space with the games. It’s great to hear you were comfortable and able to enjoy the home.
Regarding the coffee pods, when you reached out in the evening, we let you know we could bring some the following morning. Before we were able to coordinate that with you, you had already gone out and purchased some. We absolutely would have provided them, as coffee is included at this home. It appears they were missed during setup, and I apologize for that oversight.
As for shampoo, Kleenex, and similar toiletries, it is mentioned multiple times in the VRBO listing, in the pre-arrival messages, and in the terms and conditions that we provide starter essentials to get guests settled, but guests are responsible for bringing their own personal items. We provide a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and trash bags.
Regarding the soap, when you mentioned there was none, I reached out to clarify whether you meant hand soap. In the meantime, you had already purchased some. That is something we could have easily delivered, and I’m sorry it wasn’t there upon arrival.
We appreciate the feedback and will make sure our team double-checks these items during setup moving forward.
My family loved the cabin, we spent Christmas there. Everything you need is there. Just be aware, the 2nd downstairs bedroom queen-sized bed is very firm, the others are very comfortable. The fire pit was great, seeing deer very close was very cool. The only negative really, is the sound of cars flying by on Twain Harte drive.
