Perfect spring break getaway
Our family had a wonderful three-night stay in Jenn’s cabin. Beautiful wildflower hikes, gorgeous caverns, and delicious food were all within an easy drive, and we could walk into Twain Harte for boba tea or dinner. The cabin was immaculate and very cozy. The host was super responsive and offered great suggestions for local outings. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer to explore even more! We will definitely be back!

Jamie I'm ecstatic the cabin was such a wonderful fit for your family's needs so that you were in the perfect location to enjoy some of the areas local attractions this holiday season. I love that your kids got to go on the Jamestown Polar Express along with making candy canes while enjoying Columbia State Park. Thank you for taking such great care of the cabin. Can't wait for you to come back again so your girls (and you) can continue to enjoy all the area has to offer year round. Always welcome.

Thank you for the wonderful review, Lynn. I’m so happy the cabin was a great fit for everyone — from your mother to the kids and even the dogs! It’s always special to create a space where families can conveniently come together and relax. I’d love to welcome you all back anytime.
We loved our stay at this cabin in Twain Harte! It’s comfortable and cozy- even better than the pictures! Everything was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. It had everything we needed to cook dinner. The host was very helpful as well! We’d love to come back!
We had the most wonderful stay at Jenn’s charming Twain Harte cabin! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Jenn goes above and beyond to make her guests feel cared for. She was highly communicative from the start and even checked in during our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday to make sure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality truly made our getaway special.Traveling with our dogs can sometimes be stressful, but Jenn made it effortless. She left treats and goodies for our fur babies, which meant so much to us and set the tone for a very welcoming, dog-friendly stay. The cabin itself is just perfect—super clean (truly spotless), beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully updated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including spices, oils, and all the basics to help us easily cook a delicious holiday meal for our family. Every little detail felt intentional. We loved the layout, the cozy indoor comforts, and the relaxing balcony with outdoor dining. The location is ideal—close to downtown Twain Harte, the golf course, trails, lakes, historic sites, and everything the Sierras have to offer. This cabin checked every box and then some. I would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending it to all of my friends who love peaceful mountain getaways. Thank you, Jenn, for being such an incredible host. We can’t wait to return!

Kalisa - I love hearing the cabin was a big hit for everyone (including the fur babies) and was able to enhance your wonderful holiday in the mountains. What a cool new experience for your family to do this year and glad the cabin didn't disappoint for all your needs. I really appreciate your family for taking such good care of the cabin during your stay and even the extra restock of doggie bags for future guests. Very thoughtful. Your recommendation and referrals of others mean a lot to me and looking forward to getting you all back to the cabin soon to build on these memories.
About the host
Hosted by Jenn Hepner
Hi, I’m Jenn. I’m a Bay Area first responder who fell in love with Twain Harte as an easy place to slow down and recharge. I self-manage the cabin and genuinely enjoy helping guests have smooth, low-stress stays whether they’re visiting Pinecrest Lake, Yosemite, or just escaping the city for a few relaxing days in the mountains.
Why they chose this property
I’ve always loved that Twain Harte feels active without feeling busy. You can spend the day outside, walk into town for coffee, dinner or ice cream, hear live music or visit the Thursday night market in the summer, then still come back to a quiet neighborhood at the end of the night.
One of my favorite things is how easy it is to slow down up there. People spend more time outside, mornings feel calmer, and even simple things like sitting on the deck or spotting deer in the evening become part of the trip.
What makes this property unique
What originally stood out to me about the cabin was how comfortable and practical the layout felt compared to a lot of mountain homes. Having 2 king bedrooms, a separate twin room, AC, and walkability to town ended up being a combination that guests seem to really appreciate too.
I’ve tried to keep the cabin feeling relaxed and easy rather than overly complicated or overly decorated. My goal has always been for people to settle in quickly, feel comfortable, and spend their time enjoying the area instead of figuring out the house.
