Oglethorpe Lodge is a unique place to stay just steps away from the Savannah River, beautiful, cobble-stoned River Street and the Riverfront. River Street offers several restaurants, art galleries and boutiques.

When staying at the Oglethorpe Lodge, you can expect a comfortable room with plenty of space and amenities. The suite includes a full kitchen and living space for visiting with friends and family. Extra sleeping space is included with a pullout sofa in the room. Suite 3 has a designated off-street parking space located behind the lodge.

We have stayed in several different areas of Savannah when we come to visit our son. This apartment is in a prime location and the absolute bonus is the free parking spot. If you type 9 Drayton Street, Savannah in your maps, that will put you in the exact spot where you need to turn onto Bay lane (which is the “alley” that has the (1) parking spot). The alley is “one way only”. The apartment is nice and spacious.

This is a beautiful place! We stayed here and walked to The Pink House restaurant for dinner. It is it literally steps from the door. Having the lovely den and kitchen was so much nicer than renting a hotel. Also, the parking space that right out front is convenient and saves at least 50 on hotel parking. We will stay here again!
