My son and I stayed here for a fishing weekend, and it did not disappoint! House was well set up, and the boathouse with grill, hot tub and rollup door giving a view of the narrows was an unexpected bonus! Host was very responsive and we got to meet the owners as we were departing, who are both really nice people.
We were looking to do a mini getaway (3 hours away) that our dog could enjoy with us, and this spot exceeded our expectations! It is just as nice as the pictures, very clean and well organized. They even had a pooper-scooper!
The narrows are more tranquil than we thought- a couple pontoon boats go by (mid July) and ducks- Wasnt sure if it'd be loud and busy with boat traffic, but it wasnt, and every human we did encounter was friendly and waved. Really glad we discovered this on VRBO and that it was just as nice as advertised :) Hot tub, tubes, kayaks, fire pit and wood all ready for you to enjoy. We fished mostly and had a blast catching Perch, Sunnies and Bass. We will be back :)
