We enjoyed are stay at this house. It was very clean and comfortable. Host was very quick to respond and easy check in. Nice neighborhood, felt very safe. Would for sure stay here again!!
We stayed in St. Louis to visit the arch with our kids. The location was great with kids to be able to visit other surrounding attractions. We enjoyed our stay!
Adam and Alex were incredibly understanding and accommodating with our last-minute itinerary changes. We were in town celebrating my daughter’s 10th birthday and hadn’t realized there was a pop-up event starting at 12PM… at The Dome at America’s Center. This beautiful home was conveniently located near everything—stores, events, and great eateries. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you again, you two are awesome hosts!
Our family stayed here the weekend of March 8th. The communication was great. We were busy enjoying the Zoo, Union Station and other things in St Louis, the owners let us know every step of the way what was needed and expected on check in and check out. The home was beautiful, clean and very comfortable for our group, 4 adults and a toddler. Location was great for all of our activities, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. Highly recommend and would stay here again in the future.
When we arrived at the property, the air conditioning wasn't working properly but the host had someone out super fast and the whole thing was handled before we got back from dinner! Excellent location. Super clean. Good neighborhood. And the host was super responsive. Would absolutely stay here again.
Great location. Clean house. Review Amenities before your stay.
This property was in a great location. It’s walking distance to the Zoo and Turtle Park (along with another playground). While it was too hot for us to explore the larger park in which the Zoo was located, that proximity was a big factor in our choice of location. We had once prior visited St Louis but stayed downtown. We did not enjoy the downtown area with our three kids ages 10 and younger at the time. Because of the heat, we chose to drive to our destinations in and around the city. The Cardinals game at Busch Stadium, City Museum and the Gateway Arch were all just minutes away from the house. Definitely have a meal from Pizzeria Di Gloria. The pizza was fabulous!! Be forewarned, finding parking on a Saturday evening proved challenging. We brought our dog and felt very comfortable walking her through the neighborhood. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. I would recommend looking at the included amenities closely if you plan to do any cooking. The kitchen supplies were not as extensive as I would’ve hoped. Spices, a toaster, coffee pot (other than the Keurig) and a spare roll of paper towel would’ve been appreciated. The linens were minimal so pack an extra blanket and an extra towel or two. The seating inside the home was limited so if you are filling each bed to capacity, either be prepared to sit on the floor or to move chairs around the house to accommodate down time. The hosts were responsive and respectful. It was a pleasure to stay in this house.
Great for families with dogs but you need to walk outside of the house to get to the fenced yard
The interior of the house looks exactly like the pictures and is in a great location walkable to many restaurants. Our family felt very safe in the neighborhood and saw many other families with pets walking in the area. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The bedrooms had ample closet space and the luggage racks were a nice touch. My husband and kids were throughly entertained with the arcade machine. Heads up for dog owners to be aware that the fenced in yard does not have an entrance from the house. Don't expect to open a door to let the dog out. If you step out the side door, head down a few steps, then a few more paces to the right the entrance to the gate is there. Not a big deal for us since we are used to keeping our dog on a leash when taking her out at home. Just something to be aware of since it's hard to tell from the pictures. It is a nice tall fence without any gaps in a good size yard for dogs and kids to run around.
Stayed for 3 nights in June with friends to see a show. Clean and as listed. Didn’t look into cabinets intensely, but seemed to be on the more sparse side if you are planning to cook - we were not! Neighboring restaurants around- loved the pizza place!
The host was amazing with communication and checking in on how things were going. Property is in a good location and not too far from major attractions. Street of residence is a pretty narrow two way street so vehicles larger than a sedan may have some challenges coming and going. Overall a nice, quiet place to stay!
Experienced good communication with the host and the check in process was easy. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and is walkable to some coffee shops and restaurants. Not far from Maplewood and downtown St. Louis. The beds were comfortable. I would recommend some lamps in the living room and perhaps some chairs for the front porch.
Location of the home is wonderful for easy access to Forest Park. Pictures of the home are exactly what we found when we got there. It’s small and cozy and worked perfect for our family of five.
We loved being in the Dogtown neighborhood, it was awesome with the kids, within walking distance to coffee, restaurants, parks, the zoo if you were up for it. We pretty much stayed in the area eating at all the walkable places. Felix's Pizza pub was delicious, so Seamus McDaniels was also delishish. Lot of people out walking their dogs, or on golf carts. It was a wonderful small town feel in a big city! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for sharing your home!
We went to STL for a ballgame and a concert and this place was perfect! Near forest park, clean, freshly updates, had what we needed for a quiet comfortable stay! We have stayed in many in the STL area, and this is my top choice!! Thank you!!
Our family had a great stay at this house! The proximity to the park and zoo were great, and having a garage was a very nice bonus! The house is very cute and laid out in a way that was convenient for our family. While there were some cleaning items that could be improved, the host sought preemptive feedback and was very receptive to the same. Thanks!
We had 4 adults and two children (across 2 families) and found the property to be well-suited to our needs. We would have benefitted from more seating in the living room, but we moved chairs from other parts of the home to make due. The home has clearly had a budget-friendly remodel (we recognized several furniture pieces from IKEA, for example). That worked just fine for our needs and I would stay there again.
We arrived 2 hours after check-in time to find all the beds and bathrooms still dirty from the previous occupants.
Had to get a hotel room at the last minute because our baby needed to go to bed after traveling.
