My family and I loved this vacation home. It was very nice, also I loved that it was kid and pet friendly! The host was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Also I love the location we were so close to everything!

Stay was fantastic!! The hosts were very easy to respond to all of my questions My family loved the bedrooms and were very comfortable the only thing that was a bummer is that as large as the house is, it should have another bathroom living with a large family it should have another bathroom. I would stay again but only with 2-3 guess it wouldn’t be a problem with the only bathroom.

Very nice place! Kitchen was well equipped, 4 good sized bedrooms, quiet street, great backyard. Very clean. Communication with host was excellent. Easy drive to Cedar Point. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely stay in Port Clinton!

The space was just right for our family trip! The home is welcoming and tidy. We enjoyed the board games, tire swing and playset in the backyard. The location was great jumping off point for going to the beach and exploring nearby attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

Fishing weekend!

Great little spot for 3 of us to stay while we enjoyed the bounty of Lake Erie. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and well decorated, and the back deck was a nice spot to relax and grill. Conveniently located to town amenities. Great place overall!T

Nice opportunity by Lake Erie

We had a good time walking through town and visiting Lake Erie. We also visited Sandusky and Cleveland while we were there. The house was nice, clean, and safe. We had a good time there.

We enjoyed our stay and the home was perfectly suited for a girls weekend away! Clean, comfortable and great location for a trip to the islands or Catawba. Great Vacation House

The house is beautifully decorated, and communication with the owners is exceptional! We loved the little details such as the welcome book where, in addition to pertinent information, each person involved in this small business was introduced. The location of the house was perfect. We would definitely stay here again if we decided to return to Ohio.

Such a cute house!

Very clean and nicely decorated, this house checked all of the boxes of what we were looking for in a weekend get-away. A large backyard and play-set were perfect for the children in our group. I would definitely recommend this clean, cute, and cozy house to anyone! I can’t wait to go back in the spring!

Great spot!

The house was clean and very nice. My girlfriend, my dog and I had a great weekend at this house! Enjoyed the local area, came back and made a great meal and enjoyed the back yard. The property manager was responsive and respectful. Great experience!

Port Clinton Stay

We were 5 adults and 1 child, age 2 1/2 (family). We stayed for a week. The house was very nice, as pictured in VRBO, The decor was cute and the house was clean. Three of the four bedrooms were very roomy, and both the kitchen and the bathroom were well stocked. Communication with the owner was effortless and questions were answered promptly. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying again the next time we visit the area.

We were in the area visiting family. We literally were at the house just for sleeping. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet except for the passing trains. We thought it would keep us up at night but we got use to it.

The host was amazing and responded almost instantaneously to messages. The kitchen is well stocked with items to cook and feed the family. They have a cable leash out back for you fur baby to have time in the yard. The neighbor hood was quiet while we were there no troubles at all. There are train tracks close by but the trains that did pass by were short ones, none of them woke us up through the night. I would suggest a more thorough cleaning by the cleaning lady as there were some areas that got missed nothing a broom around all the corners top and bottom wouldn't get. I myself like to keep where I am staying clean so I was sweeping the floors daily and cleaning the kitchen up etc. We would gladly stay here again in the future. There is a regular coffee pot in the kitchen as well as a single cup keurig. There is a washer and dryer as well. There is a kids playset out back but we didnt use that as our children are teenagers. There is also a nice fire pit with chairs. The back deck has a table and chairs as well as an umbrella for shade. The screen doors took getting used to they didn't open like ours do at our home and you have to open them as far as they go for them to close or they stay open. The only fix I know that would be beneficial would be add weather stripping around the doors to help seal them so there wouldn't be a gap hot/cold air to come in through. The water for showering/bathing/washing dishes is nice and hot had no issues running out of hot water.

Location is convenient for access to Port Clinton and Catawba Island. Area seems pretty safe and is fairly quiet - though a train does run by a few times per day. Overall, the property design and amenities were in-line with pricing. After having already secured the stay, submitting payment details, we get to the day before the stay and am sent an additional, unexpected, and somewhat personally invasive, check-in process through a 3rd party that was less-than-ideal. The contracts to sign, above and beyond the vrbo contracts, were extensive, as well. Finally, to round out the experience, the host requires all dishes be done and put away, along with the trash being collected and taken out. Should any of this have been disclosed in the listing, there would be nothing to be frustrated about, as the expectation would have been set prior to booking.
