Lovely three bedroom cottage centrally located. Cook's kitchen, cozy living room with fireplace, two bathrooms, southern light, and large, private yard. The perfect spot to read, relax, prepare meals and explore the natural beauty of Shelter Islabd. The cottage is close to all island beaches, nature preserve and restaurants. All of the charm and character of an original house on the island dating to the 1860’s but lovingly updated and very comfortable.

Perfect Getaway
In short this house is perfect. It combines the quaint charm of a cottage with all of the modern amenities one could wish for. Located in a peaceful, tree lined street, the garden totally private from all sides. Fluffy beds, comfy sofas, sunlight throughout. We have stayed here in both winter and summer months and in each season the house seems to offer exactly what we needed to relax and forget the city!
A perfect base for either exploring the Hamptons, or enjoying the laid back atmosphere and natural life of Shelter Island.

Fantasy Oasis
This charming cottage is a perfect retreat for people ready to leave it all behind. The location couldn't be more perfect–it's right in the middle of the island, which means easy access to the grocery, a funky fish market, numerous farmstands, yoga at the chapel just down the street, some of the nicer restaurants on the island, and hiking in Mashomack preserve. A 5 min drive to Crescent Beach (free parking) or other quieter ones too. (It's worth getting a temporary parking pass from the town hall if you're staying for longer than the weekend). You could also totally make do with the cute bikes that come with the house. The yard is shady and big and the street is quiet, making the whole experience super chill. The owner has amazing taste—the house is decorated in a very light, airy, and thoughtful way, perfect for the island. We feel in love with this place and can't wait to come back. The owner is very sweet and accommodating. My wife and I can't wait to go back.

This house is perfect. We stayed once and came back to stay again. The only thing that i hated was the days we had to leave....
