Was just as described. Clean and beautiful view. I drive a lowered honda civic and made it up there no problem.

Not a summer house. The house does not have air conditioning. The swamp cooler kept the kitchen area cool about 5 feet away from it. We slept on the floor in the kitchen under the 1 swamp cooler each night. The rest of the house heat was unbearable. Tv remote didn’t work. 1 TV with old DVDs to play was the option. Fridge did not stay cool. We bought ice to keep food cold. We came to get away and have a relaxing time. We should have called customer service immediately but we drove far and tried to make the best of it. The heat in the house made this trip stressful for our group and the photos made the house seem bigger too. When we arrived the house was an oven, we turned on the swamp cooler and it never cooled down the house the entire time. We almost left in the first hour as we arrived to an extremely hot house, but we planned this trip for a while and it was the first vacation I’ve taken in many years. Many bugs and spiders in the house too. The roads to get there need cars that can handle steep, uneven, dirt roads. Our car tires spun out going up one of the hills and we had to back down a thin road to try again. Many blind corners and we were almost hit by another resident coming around a corner. Overall, we survived the house heat and left exhausted. Communication with host was pleasant and very nice prior to the trip. I reached out to them before this review, no response. It was really sad, for a vacation, to be struggling the entirety of it.

Guest never reached out to me during the stay for any help. Due to this I couldn’t help her or offer anything. It wasn’t until after she stayed on the busiest days of the year she threatened with a bad review if I didn’t refund her money. Went into the cabin and none of these is issues were valid. The property is up a dirt road but even a sub compact car can make it when it’s not snowing.
