Just as advertised, nothing too fancy, it was very clean and right on the lake. My wife is a bird lover and I love to fish so this was a great weekend get away. Also, very close to downtown for restaurants. Definitely would recommend.
The place is right on the water and so much waterfowl and creature activity created such peace and calm. The house design and layout are perfect for observing nature as well. The walk around the lake is a bonus.
We found this property while looking for a lace to stay for a family reunion. We wanted to be close, but make our own vacation too. Being right on the lake, with private access to the dock was perfect. Everyone enjoyed the fishing, and just sitting on the dock. Paddle boarding was new to us, but was a total hit! The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and plenty of hot water after a day on the water. The host is super responsive and friendly. The living room could benefit from a sectional as the 6 of us were a little cramped for seating to watch a couple of movies; but that was a minor inconvenience. Overall, it was the perfect place for our vacation!
This was the perfect location for a quick getaway. The location was close enough to all the places/restaurants we wanted to visit but felt like we were away from city noise, traffic, etc. We loved spending time in the backyard with our dogs and walking them around the lake. Sitting in the sunroom early morning with coffee and watching all the nature was amazing...geese, ducks, turtles, deer, even beaver, such a great way to start the day. The house had everything we needed as far as the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry go. This didn't really impact us since it was just my husband and me but one thing to maybe consider is replacing the hallway bathroom door with an actual door, the folding door wouldn't offer much privacy if it were a group of friends, larger family, etc. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!
