Important considerations for your stay:
Winter Accessibility:
The road leading to the cottage, including a steep section, may present challenges in icy or snowy conditions. While the city maintains the public roads, weather conditions can affect accessibility. A SUV or 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended during winter months; alternatively, vehicles should be equipped with winter traction aids (such as tire chains or cleats). We also have a snow removal service available for the driveway, which can be called upon request when needed.
Noise: We kindly ask guests to respect the tranquility of the area and adhere to municipal noise regulations, particularly after 11 PM. Our cottage is not suitable for loud parties.
Pet Policy: To ensure a comfortable and allergy-friendly environment for all guests, pets are welcome exclusively on the ground floor and are not permitted in the bedrooms.
Trampoline: Guests are encouraged to follow our trampoline safety guidelines provided in the cottage guide. For comprehensive safety standards, we also recommend consulting the guidelines provided by the government to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
River: The river is approximately a 5-minute walk from the cottage, with a noticeable slope near the water. The path may not be suitable for individuals with disabilities or older guests.
Cleaning: We kindly ask that the BBQ, oven, and microwave be cleaned after use. If these appliances are left excessively dirty and require additional cleaning, the following charges will apply:
BBQ : $100
Oven : $100
Microwave : $50
Fridge: $50 Our enchanting cottage offers more than just a stay; it's a gateway to unwind, reconnect with nature, and create unforgettable memories in a setting where comfort meets the great outdoors.

Nice, calm and charming. But it was freezing inside and not much a light, to dark inside. And the pedestrian entrance was not cleared of snow.

Thank you for your review!
We're delighted to hear you appreciated the chalet's tranquility and charm.
We've taken your feedback to heart and added extra lighting to ensure a brighter environment, directly addressing the concerns you raised.
We apologize for the oversight regarding heating during your visit; we typically pre-heat the chalet for our guests' arrival but missed it this time. Please rest assured, we're committed to preventing this in the future. Additionally, we're devising ways to ensure the pedestrian entrance is consistently clear of snow.
Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we look forward to potentially welcoming you back to a more comfortable and bright chalet,
Very nice and cozy cottage!
Really enjoyed our stay. Placed on large land which allows for nice private walks in the forest.
Beds weren’t incredibly comfortable. Slightly misleading regarding allowing dogs.
Dogs are allowed in the cottage, but not on the second floor where all the rooms are.
Other than that, Strongly recommend!
