Beautyful elegant apartment located in the historical center, residential area

Spacious, elegant, comfortable, well organized and equipped apartment, with character and atmosphere. Suitable for couples, families and friends, it will make your stay really pleasant. Musicians' friendly.
The apartment is placed on the second floor of a 4-storey building of 8 apartments (all resident owners). It cosists of one large bedroom with king size bed, 2 comfortable single bedrooms with desks and wardrobe, two bathrooms (one with bathtub/shower, the other with shower only), one study room including a French size sofa-bed, really spacious living room with grand piano, wide kitchen. Veranda with washing machine.
Wi-fi internet connection. All standard facilities provided.
Strategic position in beautiful tree-lined quiet road, walking distance (7 min.) from Bus station and Railway station, and also from the inner city center. Really close to University Humanities Departments.
Restaurants, bars, supermarket and food shops of all kinds nearby. Two Pharmacies in the neighborhood.
Close to all the main historical sites of interest, museums etc.

Lovely and comfortable Padua

The apartment was delightful. Spacious and comfortable. Wonderful location. We used it as a base to explore Venice, Ravenna and Verona. Our hosts were charming and helpful.

Comfortable, spacious apartment, a short walk from the centre of town

The apartment is well located on a shady residential street. It's clean, spacious and well equipped and has a very homely feel to it. It's within easy walking distance of two small supermarkets and a very popular café. There's also a pleasant walk into town and, in a different direction, to the railway station and associated tram stop. Sergio and Elisabetta are excellent, helpful hosts and made our stay very enjoyable.

Very comfortable spacious apartment

The apartment is very spacious, with one double, two single bedrooms, a study, sitting-room, dining area, eat-in kitchen. The beds are very comfortable and it is very well-equipped. The landlord is helpful and came to meet us late when we checked-in. The area is walking distance from the centre but there are also frequent buses.

Home away from home

Sergio and Elisabetta gave us a very warm welcome and we felt at home right away. They made sure we had everything we needed for our stay in Padua and were extremely helpful and kind. The apartment has a cozy yet elegant feel to it and is very comfortable. The mattress in the master bedroom is especially comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen is on the small side but well equipt including spices, teas and coffee. A few more forks and spoons could be added as we liked to eat in for many meals and needed to rewash silverware between meals before we could fill the dishwasher. The apartment is well appointed with lovely things including a piano and many books which are an added bonus. Nearby you will find all the basic stores and services you might need and the historic center is a 15 minute walk away. We highly recommend a stay here! Wish we could have stayed all year!

A delightful central apartment in Padova

Our travelling group from Australia ( 2 couples ) had the pleasure of staying at Sergio's and Elisabetta's apartment in a leafy inner city street in Padova for 10 days. The apartment was well appointed with a delightful mix of furnishings and decorations. We were able to find free off street parking for our hire car near the apartment whenever required. As noted in previous reviews the apartment is ideally located for walking to the major sights in Padova as well as to the train station for easy travel to Venice, Vicenza and Verona if required. Sergio was always prompt with correspondence and both were extremely helpful in providing information about the locality, the apartment and general tourist information. The apartment was well stocked with books and general tourist information. In summary the apartment provided a wonderful base to explore beautiful Padova and surrounds. Highly recommended

Spacious comfortable apartment easy walk from center

We spent 8 days in the apartment. Sergio and Elizabetta are warm and generous hosts and communicated really well. They provided all necessary details in writing such as wifi, parking, amenities. We never had a problem with parking. We always found a spot on the street close by, or in the lane next to the apartment. The kitchen is very well equipped and we cooked several great meals either using produce from the market which is 10 or 15 minute walk, or from the several nearby grocery and fruit stores. This is a home away from home. Highly recommended. Padua is also a great base from which to visit nearby towns like Venice, Citadella, Vicenza. For example, the train is a 12 minute walk from the apartment and Venice is an easy, inexpensive 25 minute train ride. Padua is also a very interesting city in itself.

Home Away From Home

From Day 1, when Sergio met us at the apartment to show us around, I felt at home. He's a great communicator and was very accommodating to our needs to get in the place earlier. We were lucky it worked out. The home is bigger than the pictures show and feels more like a house than an apartment. It has three bedrooms, two full baths, an office, a fully stocked kitchen, a large dining/living room area, an outside porch, and a veranda. There is a washer and no dryer (as is common in Europe) so pack a few extra socks. We were a group of three adults, and we kept saying, "this place feels so homey and cozy." The apartment is on the second floor of a four-story building. You have to enter through two locked doors before getting inside- a great safety measure though the neighborhood felt super safe. The area is tree-lined and close to a few coffee/food places. Mostly, we took the train everywhere, about a 10-minute walk. We couldn't be happier with our stay, and if we are ever back in Padua, we will undoubtedly contact Sergio. Thank you!!

Great spacious apartment.

Loved this spacious apartment and its location. The hosts were wonderful and available. Good communication. Area very busy and parking not on same street but very manageable. We were able to walk to the city center and sites.

Great Location/Great Apartment/Great Host

We are very familiar with the city of Padova and this is a great apartment as a home base to explore the city. Spacious, clean, nice neighborhood and excellent location. 10 minute walk to the train station, 10 minute walk to the center of town. Clean, safe and quiet neighborhood/building. You will not regret selecting this apartment as your temporary home in Padova. Sergio and Elisabetta are great hosts and you can tell they care for the apartment and respect their guests.

Im Grünen und doch mitten in der Stadt

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der großzügigen Wohnung sehr genossen. Wir fühlten uns hier sofort wie zu Hause. Besonders ist die Lage des Hauses, in dem sich die Wohnung befindet: Es ist in einer wunderschönen Straße, die mit ihren vielen alten Laubbäumen wie eine grüne Oase wirkt. Die Vermieter waren sehr offen und unkompliziert. Wir können diese Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Fantastic apartment ! Wonderful owners - Sergio and Elisabbetta ! Highly recommending this place!

The apartment is much more beautiful and convenient than the impression you get from the photos. It is situated at an extremely beautiful street, with many trees ( quite rare in Padova..). And what is more important - this apartment has a very warm and homely atmosphere, you feel as if you are invited as a friend. Sergio and Elisabbeta are wonderful renters. Absolutely no problems with logistics ( keys, explanations, advices ). You can reach them at any time, if you need an advice or help. I will always recommend this apartment to anyone who is visiting Padova.

exceptional appartment!

It is hard to describe how great this appartment is. We can highly recommend it! I have been visiting Padova at least once per year since ten years and this was the most enjoyable stay so far - thanks to Sergio and Elisabetta who are great "hosts" and extremely helpful.

confort, espace et calme pour visiter Padova, sa région et Venise

Nous avons été immédiatement séduits par l'immense et élégant appartement de nos hôtes. Dans un quartier résidentiel proche de la gare et non loin du centre de Padova, cet appartement est incroyablement calme et permet de se reposer après avoir visité les merveilles de la région. Sergio s'est montré très accueillant et nous a laissé de nombreuses indications pour pouvoir bien profiter de notre séjour. L'appartement comprend tout ce qu'il faut au niveau matériel de nécessité et bien plus (livres, musique, piano...!). Nous recommandons bien volontiers cet appartement à qui souhaite visiter Padova, la campagne et les villes alentours et Venise, qui se trouve à 30 minutes à peine en train !

hard to fault

We had a lovely time at this apartment. There is not much to complain about besides finding a parking spot in the street - you just have to be patient. Sergio and Elisabetta are great hosts giving you as much or as little information as you want. They even messaged me during the stay to tell us about a free concert at the Conservatorium of Music. The apartment is only 10 minutes walk to the rail station and 10 minutes walk to the main Piazzas. Good cafe nearby. The apartment copes easily with 4 - 5 people - everything supplied.

Beautiful apartment in a nice town and a nice neighbourhood

The apartment is in a quiet street not far from the city centre and the train station. The two hosts were very nice and competent. The apartment is equipped with elegant furniture and the two bathrooms and the kitchen contain everything you will need. If you are a musician you can play the grand piano in the living room. A supermarket and more stores and restaurants are close by at piazza mazzini. The place is excellent for people (like us) interested in culture since Padova is a place full of interesting palaces and churches but not as crowded with foreign tourists like Venice. So prices in restaurants and cafés are quite reasonable.

Lovely spacious homely apartment on quiet street near city centre

As a family of two adults and two children, this apartment was ideal for our holiday in the Veneto. With three spacious bedrooms and lots of living space, we felt at home straight away. The apartment has a lovely homely feel and is on a quiet street so we all slept well. It's only a ten minute walk into the historic city centre and even less to the railway station. Padova is a beautiful city in its own right, and only 25 minutes by train from Venice - a great base for exploring the area. Sergio and Elisabetta made us feel very welcome. We would happily stay here again.

Espace,confort et calme

L'appartement est très spacieux décoré avec gout .Les 2 salles de bains sont un plus et la cuisine est remarquablement aménagée. Nous nous sommes sentis chez nous chez Sergio qui a été ponctuel à l'accueil et au moment de la restitution des clés. La rue est très calme: très peu de circulation et est bordée de magnifiques chênes. Nous avons apprécié les moustiquaires à toutes les fenêtres. L'adresse est très commode : 15 mn de la gare de train/autobus et du centre historique. Donc parfait pour visiter Venise , Veronne ....Il y a un supermarché proche mais il vaut mieux aller au superbe marché de la place aux Herbes.

Our home in Padua

A gracious and well appointed apartment on a quiet tree lined street; this is where Sergio and Elizabetta raised two boys to adulthood. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable month long stay. We are in our late 60's. but found it very conveniently located to walk to the train station (10-15 minutes) for direct connections to Venice, Verona or Vicenza. We walked to the city center's market and flower piazza, night life, University, Palazzo della Ragione, and Giotto's Scrovegni chapel fresco cycle. The tram runs to the Padua Duomo with it's huge piazza and Donatello's equestrian statue. Padua has many more attractions and it was wonderful to feel part of the city in our own residential neighborhood. Sergio and Elizabetta where a phone call away if we needed advice or assistance, but never an intrusion. We would definitely recommend this apartment to one or two couples of our friends.

Home away from home

This apartment offers all the comforts and conveniences to make your vacation a pleasure. There was plenty of room for all four of us and having two full bathrooms was really a treat. There is a front terrace for sitting out during the day and a back porch that is used for laundry, which comes in handy for a longer stay. The roof also has an area for hanging clothes if you are in a bigger hurry for things to get dry. The location is ideal for making day trips to Vicenza, Venice, Verona, Bassano, and other areas in the Veneto. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked almost every night as we sipped wine or spritz and settled down from our day of travel. The owners of the apartment, Sergio and Elisabetta, are even more impressive than the apartment. They checked on us to make sure our stay was going well and made recommendations on activities in the area so that we would not miss any opportunities. We enjoyed meeting them and having good conversations and hope we meet again someday. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful stay.

Sergio, Harvard Ph.D., prof. of Musicology, currently teaching at the University of Padua married to Elisabetta (teacher of English and Yoga instructor). We have two children (Francesco, 34, married and Lorenzo 31) and we live in a house on the Euganean Hills, half an hour from Padua.
We lived in the U.S. and we like traveling. We enjoy hosting people from all over the world and make them feel at home.

Nice to sit out on the porch with the two big magnolias stretching right in front of you. Pleasant to be in the kitchen that is quiet and bright. Rooms of atmosphere with nice views. Warm and silent to enjoy resting time, reading, listening to music etc.
