Perfect location, excellent parking

We weren’t expecting much, to be honest, but we were happily surprised at just how well our stay turned out! Being downtown, we were in walking distance of plenty of restaurants and bars. They offer parking within the same building (the bottom 4 floors) which is super convenient! Just be sure to look for a spot on the “upper” levels so you will be closest to the elevators without having to use a short flight of stairs. The bed was comfy & the room was roomy with a view of downtown (we were on the 18th floor).

The hotel was great, having a cool relaxed vibe. Close to 16th street mall and everything we wanted to do in downtown Denver. Very pet friendly and comfortable room. However, I was disappointed in the VRBO listing info. No hotel name was displayed, until I payed for my stay. The price I paid was 40 more than I found for the exact same room on the Sonesta hotel website. In addition, valet service is required, if you want to park in the parking garage.

The Sonesta Hotel is a nice clean place with a nice rooftop pool that we enjoyed. Upon entering, there is an OVERWHELMING aroma of fragrence spray or candles. It was so intense it almost made us sick. Every interaction with the front door staff was rather unpleasant. They were not friendly. I will say they were quick about fixing problems. On our first night they had to send someone to snake our shower drain because it was clogged. Online it also says you have the ability to stream from your phone on the Room TVs, but when we asked they said they eventually will so that was disappointing. Finally, with there being a large airport near by most hotels have bathroom scales. When we asked for one they treated us like this was unheard of, which added to the unpleasantness we felt from the front desk.
