Welcome to the heart of the Salzburger Sportwelt.

The Forsthaus Neuberg is located directly at the ski slopes in the scenic village of Filzmoos. In the summer, access hiking and bicycle trails right outside. Rock climbing, glacier, ice caves, canyoning, lakes are a short car ride away.

Our spacious house is a tastefully renovated mid-century gem. Rooms are spread over 3 floors, providing the perfect balance of privacy and shared space for large groups and extended families who want to vacation together.

Günstiges und best geeignetes Haus für 4 ältere Ehepaare, 4 junge Paare und ein Kleinkind. Wir haben gemeinsam gekocht, gefeiert und sind mit Pferdeschlitten gefahren. Einige sind Schiegefahren, wunderbare Schneelage.3Tage lang hat es geschneit, 2 Tage Sonnenschein pur. Weisse Weihnachten wie wir es gesucht und gefunden haben.

While I was growing up, my mother ran the Forsthaus Neuberg as a B&B. Taking care of our guests was a family affair and we had many guests who would return year after year to spend their vacation in our house. Now I get to host you in the Forsthaus Neuberg and it brings back fond memories. I have been living in the U.S.A. since the late eighties. I go back home a couple of times a year for back-country skiing, hiking, mushroom hunting and to see family and friends.

Why they chose this property

Forsthaus Neuberg is situated in the Austrian alps, an easy drive from Salzburg. The house is situated in a hamlet with lush meadows and spruce forests. The house can be easily reached by car, and it provides access to summer and winter activities.

What makes this property unique

Forsthaus Neuberg is a spacious mountain chalet which sleeps up to 20 guests. 9 bedrooms are spread over 3 floors, providing extended families and groups of friends with the necessary space to socialize and the privacy to relax. Forsthaus Neuberg is a mid-century dwelling, that was expertly renovated. Guests cherish it for its charm, size and location right by the ski lift and road for easy access in wintery conditions.
