This cabin was amazing.. this property has great view from the front porch overlooking a lake, awesome hiking trails, cool waterfall/cave on site, wild turkey sightings and on and on.. We will definitely be going back, but for a longer stay next time.
Can't complain about anything at this property. The cabin was nice. The property was quiet. We enjoyed the hiking trail. The lake looked nice, but it was a bit cold out for us to rent a boat. Would absolutely recommend for a small group.
The cabin was just as described. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The lovely drive through the countryside as we traveled between our cabin and Mammoth Cave was an unexpected joy. We enjoyed all the wildlife including birds, rabbits and deer and the lake view was an added bonus. We also got the cabin with Nolin the cat and my kids enjoyed helping feed and love on him during our stay.
Do not hesitate to stay her communication was great and the accomidations where 5 stair.
Kids enjoyed the playground, we made use of the trails and were lucky enough to have water running over the falls. After a cook out and putting kids to bed we loved the tranquility of the pouch. The host was ever so responsive..

WONDERFUL STAY
This cabin was just as pictured. Very clean, quite area, kitchen needs met, more than enough towels for the 6 of us. Kids ages 4 and 1 loved the playground, though small it fit the need to get their wiggles out. Cut little kids kitchen for make believe. Small touches I can not even remember that made our stay wonderful.
This place looked great when I booked it, but everything was better in person. The cabin was beautiful, and had a private dock to the lake. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were great. The waterfall and cave were spectacular. Everything was clean and well thought out. If you come and the ferry is down, don't be upset. The drive to mammoth is a little longer, but it's on country roads that are both very pretty and fun to drive. I can't recommend this place high enough
The cabin is exactly as expected, cozy for a family of 6. Clean and comfortably appointed. We did have some maintenance needing to be done to the cabin reserved but the hosts communicated with us quickly and efficiently and extended kayak rentals to us for any inconvenience! The grounds are beautiful with hiking, cave to explore, fishing, kayaking and local wildlife. Kids loved the playground and searching for crawfish in the creek. We spent most of the time at the property as outside of our mammoth cave tours the area is void of shopping, dining or entertainment options. The hosts were wonderful and really have a great little getaway here!

Welcome retreat
Cabin was comfortably appointed and cozy for family of 6! We had some maintenance needed in our cabin and needed to move to another location on the property to accommodate. The hosts communicated quickly and efficiently about the issue and extended kayak rentals as a thank you. The property was the highlight, with kayaks/floats/life vests, playground, hiking trails and cave to explore. The town and area around the rental is void of dining, shopping, entertainment beyond mammoth cave so the hosts message to come prepared was helpful! Had a wonderful trip over all and the hosts and their property were 5 star!
