When I designed Starlight Horizon, I wanted to create a place where families and friends could escape the noise of daily life and reconnect with each other. I've lived in Texas my whole life and I’ve spent years exploring the Texas Hill Country. Canyon Lake has always been my go-to spot for peace, sunshine, and that nostalgic summer-camp feeling that instantly slows life down.

Hosting isn’t just about providing a place to stay. It’s about curating experiences. My favorite part of welcoming guests is hearing how they laughed around the firepit, spotted deer at sunrise, or watched their kids unplug and play in the pool or with the games. That’s the magic of this property. Every cabin was designed with comfort, privacy, and connection in mind.

Within minutes of the property, you’ll find crystal-clear lake waters, scenic hiking trails, local wineries, and live music under the stars. It’s close enough to Austin and San Antonio to make travel easy, yet far enough to feel worlds away.

Whether you’re floating the Guadalupe, dining at a local café, or exploring nearby Wimberley and Gruene, you’ll feel that Hill Country hospitality everywhere you go. Canyon Lake offers the peace of nature with the vibrance of true Texas life, and that’s why I fell in love with it.

Spread across five peaceful acres, our 14 designer cabins are tucked among the trees, each with its own deck, firepit, and stargazing views. We’ve designed everything to help people reconnect. Shared outdoor dining areas, a pool with twinkle lights, and spaces for yoga, games, or evening storytelling.
