We made a quick weekend getaway to Bryce Canyon and Kodachrome state park. This place was a great place to stay! Check in was easy, the place was clean and extremely cozy. If you are in the area, I highly recommend staying here.
Great home base for Red Canyon and Bryce adventures!
We had a great stay and the home was everything as expected as a great value. The Hen Store of snacks and food was really helpful (especially in Sunday when dining options were limited). There's a bit of road noise, but nothing that you don't get used to. Overall, it was a great place for us to stay as we explored the area.
Perfect location for national park travelers. Great hosts and great property! I wish we had a reason to come back soon so we could stay here again. Our children were sad we only had a one night stay here. The hosts went above and beyond to make a charming and comfortable experience!
Very spacious. Old but decorated cute but could use some refreshing/updating. Fairly clean and comfortable. Delicious sourdough fresh bread. Very nice touch.
Home was bigger than it appeared in pics. A loaf of homemade bread and jam was sitting on the counter. Delicious and a nice touch. Very accomodating owners. Woulstayagain.
The house was great. The decorations very homey. Beautiful sky and easy drive to Bryce Canyon. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. We would stay again!
Very nicely appointed and comfortable. All amenities one would need including various sundry items for sale. Bedrooms and baths all very nice. Spacious kitchen with all the items needed for preparing meals for 4 of us. It is on rt 89 north of town but traffic noise was not a problem. Would stay there again!
What a surprise to enter this amazing house. It looks very normal outside, but omg a wonderful cocoon of decoration and little details. So clean and smell good too… pleasant surprise… don’t hesitate a second to book this place.
One of the nicest rentals that we have stayed at. Location was right on 89 which made it easy to get into town and to Bryce. It is a sleeper from the outside but once you walk through the door, you know you are home! Very roomy and comfortable. Becky is a star host and even has homemade bread waiting for you. Lovely decor. Has everything you need while away from home. Stay here!
We stayed while visiting Bryce Canyon. At first sight when pulling into the driveway we thought it was going to be really small. We were so wrong! The house was perfect for us. Large kitchen. Large master bedroom and bathroom. A living room AND den. The hosts thought of everything to make the home as comfortable as possible. The house was also very clean. We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. We are definitely going to stay again the next time we visit Bryce Canyon.
We had a great stay at the Hen House! Beds are super comfy, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of blankets, etc. One of the best rentals I've come across as far as attention to detail. Washer and Dryer were a plus! Host makes awesome sourdough bread too. The house is close to Bryce Canyon and not too far from Zion. We also went skiing at Brian Head (about an hour away) in the mountians. So much to do here, we went in the winter, but it would be even more awesome in the warm months. Hosts let us park our RV out back aswell. Horses next door are beautiful and came up to say 'hi' to us.
We spent a couple of nights here while we were exploring Bryce Canyon. My only complaints were that the water and ice maker on the refrigerator were not working and we had a little trouble with the washing machine not filling properly. Other than that, the place was spacious enough for all of us and my kids especially loved the tv room. The owner has brought some food items and even bathroom items that you can purchase, too, and that was a definite perk. And to help with the ice situation, they had several ice packs that you could use. We packed our lunches for the day before we left, so those were handy without the ice maker.
Whatever your issue, the owners are SUPER responsive and will help for sure! Would stay here again. :)
We loved our stay at the Hen House! Becky was so accommodating and helpful, and left us the most delicious homemade sourdough. This house was perfect for us and has everything you could possibly need. Every detail has been carefully thought out to make your experience as comfortable as possible. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were squeaky clean, and the location can’t be beat. We’d love to stay again!
This was perfect for visiting Bryce Canyon! Our family loved the space. It was cozy, but still enough space to spread out and be comfortable! Fully stocked, and items “for purchase” if you forgot anything. My kids especially enjoyed spending their own money on stocked snacks in the cabinet! I would stay here again!
Everything we possibly could have needed was at our fingertips. There were so many thoughtful details, including the “Store” and especially the homemade sourdough bread and peach preserves. I’m very glad that this was the home we chose to stay in while we were in Panguitch.
