Welcome to Cedar Break at Howard Ranch a Premiere Hill Country Lodging and Event Resort!
More than an overnight stay in a hotel room, at Cedar Break you’re surrounded by the history and beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Experience the charm of our unique cabins located just behind the Twisted X Brewery. Our cabins have been meticulously crafted to replicate the historic workforce Row Homes found in the early 1900’s. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and we've used materials sourced from the beautiful regions of Appalachia, Colorado, and Montana.

Thank you for your review—we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay.
Our Property Manager did have some concerns when additional guests and a dog arrived right at 11:00 AM, which is our standard check-out time. At that point, our housekeeping team was already scheduled and waiting to begin cleaning the cabin. When you requested a bit more time, we allowed that.
We were simply working to balance your request with our cleaning schedule to ensure the next guests would also have a smooth arrival. We truly appreciate your understanding.

We have lived in the area for close to 30 years. It is quiet here, but yet so closed to the city of Dripping Springs.
What makes this property unique
Nestled in behind Twisted X Brewery you will find our 15 row homes, a Tobacco Barn venue and our General Store. Our row homes are designed with a hill country experience in mind. Each home has it's own private porch, one bedroom with queen bed an on suite bathroom, and a living area with full kitchenette and dining. The General Store provides your glamping needs with s'mores kits, fire kits and more.
