Excellent stay!

The house is great - clean, renovated, excellent location. We really enjoyed sitting out on the front porch, as well as the back deck. Steps from Seaview Market, between the beach and bay … we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more! Shana was extremely accommodating and communicative.

Beautiful updated house, perfect location

This house was in great shape-- my favorite rental of years in renting in Fire Island. The location-- only steps to the Seaview market-- was perfect. Steps to the ocean, close to the bay side where you can swim. A great house and location for little kids.

What a fantastic house!

Staying at 27 Chapman could not have been better. The location, amenities, layout and vibe were all perfect. Best of all, Shana could not have been more accommodating. We loved our week and look forward to renting again.

Great family memories

All 3 generations of our family loved every Minute at this wonderful home in the Fantastic Seaview community! We loved Being so close to the fantastic beach, the Seaview market and Ocean Beach (for Ice cream breaks or to buy fresh seafood) We spent time everyday at the Seaview Kiddie pool and park which the grandkids Loved! The house is just as pictured and Comfortable in every way!

Great place to unwind

This house is conveniently located to everything in Seaview/Ocean beach. You would be few minutes walk away from ferries, shops, beach. House is very comfortable and well appointed. Kitchen is well stoked with all essential equipment. Hosts are super nice, accommodating and very easy to work with. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing Family Vacation

Absolutely loved this house. Extremely clean and nicely updated. The deck is nice and roomy, with plenty of sunshine, but also has nice shade via umbrellas. Proximity to the ferry, Seaview supermarket and town is ideal. House has everything you could need form great beach chairs and umbrellas to kids toys to use on the beach. Shana the owner was very responsive and offered a ton of information, they run a great house. We hope to be back!

Great House!

We were very pleased with our stay! One of the best features of this house is the loction. One minute from Seaview Market/Ferry and less then 5 minutes to the beach. Plus, it is very close to Ocean Beach town as well. The house is exactly as shown in pictures, and owner was very helpful. Kitchen is new and fully equipped. Great living space, with plenty of seating. The deck has lounge chairs, a large table and a cute mini table for kids. AC in all the rooms, plus new ceiling fans as well. Plenty of beach and bath towels, new and clean bedding. Wagons, bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas all there as well! I would recommend this house and will be back next summer!

it was a great week staying at Shana's place /

this place was very roomy for our family. the rooms are great size and beds are extremely comfortable. plenty of sitting space.inside and outside, close to town, beach both ocean and bayside. i would def stay here again. thanks for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home.

An oasis within an oasis

Recently spent a week here with family and friends. Shana's home is set up comfortably and is very well equipped with everything you'll need for an unforgettable Fire Island vacation. Plus the place is beautifully decorated with fish inspired art which is a passion we share. Oh, and did I mention that every room has AC and overhead fans? We were extremely lucky in that we had a perfect stretch of weather, but still, everyone slept well. Seaview is a very nicely maintained family oriented association that prides itself on staying that way. If one feels the need to visit boisterous Ocean Bay Park (Schooner (yeah) or Flynn's (not so) its right there and when your flops blow out the Ocean Beach commercial center is a short bike ride away. Highlight's included a water taxi ride to Cherry Grove with dinner overlooking the Ocean at the Sandcastle on the Beach. Followed this up with a show at Cherry's on the Bay featuring Hedda Lettuce. Not for the timid, but hysterical.

Perfect!!

Perfect vacation home for our family....we were 7 adults all together and there was ample space for all. This very clean house is quite accommodating from the fully equipped kitchen, spacious living/dining area, comfy bedrooms, and beautiful decor! Loved having coffee on the front porch in the morning watching the deer walk by! Fully equipped with bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and wagons. Great location...Shana was a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend!!

Family Vacation

Had a wonderful family vacation in Fire Island! The house was beautiful, and had all the amenities to make our family of eight feel rite at home. Great location, very quiet and close to the beach or in to town for dinner or ice cream. Shana & Coleman are wonderful hosts and took extra care to make sure we had everything we needed. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Loved the bicycles and the outdoor shower! We will always have wonderful memories of our vacation. I would highly recommend this home!

Great Place for Vacation

We have been "day trippers" for quite some time and decided to rent for a week...what a treat! The house was perfect; very clean and centrally located. The pictures of the home were spot on. From star gazing to bike riding we made great memories for our kids. The owners were a pleasure to work with. Would definitely recommend this house.

Great House

Property was very clean up on arrival and the beds were extremely comfortable which is not always the case with rental homes. Owners were very easy to work with and very anxious to please. Home is well located for short walk to ferry, market, town or beach.pictures are very accurate. Home is well maintained.

Great week at a lovely home

We had spent many summers on Fire Island, and returned after a long hiatus. What a treat. Perfect location, a block and a half from the beach (short blocks), lifeguard on the next block over (setup on the quiet area of the beach at the end of the street. and walk 50 feet on the beach to the supervised swimming area), incredibly well equipped and maintained home with everything you need (beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, bikes, fully equipped kitchen), a lovely back deck and covered front porch (great for morning coffee in the shade). Really clean and updated house. Window A/C units (a real treat on FI) and excellent ceiling fans in all 4 bedrooms and the kitchen. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating. A 5 min walk to the ferry and the market, only a 10 min walk into Ocean Beach if you are looking for dinner or action in town, but a lovely quiet Seaview location. Highly recommended.

Great Rental

Beautiful Clean House

This was my family's 2nd season staying in this house. Last year we stayed one week and this year we did 2. The location is perfect (close to town and the beach). The house is very clean and up to date. We will be back again next summer!!!

Fantastic House

I have spent many summers in Fire Island and this was the best house I have rented. The pictures accurately portray the interior and exterior. Kitchen is modern and fully equipped. The living room is very comfortible. The deck is in excellent condition with a great outdoor shower. Major plus- house is one minute walk to the Seaview market and the ferry which makes things a lot easier during your stay. And the house is maybe a 10 minute walk to Ocean Beach. The a/c units will keep the house perfectly cool. The week I was there was a beautiful one but extrememly hot. Without the a/c, we would have had a couple of uncomfortable nights. I totally recommend this house.
