Welcome to the Yellowstone River Retreat! This completely remodeled 6 acre river home offers world class fly fishing right in your backyard. Uniquely located 5 minutes from downtown Livingston makes restaurants, entertainment and groceries super convenient. Cool off in the new HVAC that was just installed. Yellowstone National Park is 45 minutes away and Bozeman is 29 minutes away. If skiing is your thing, Bridger Bowl is 30 minutes away. All memory foam mattresses and all the pillows are new and covered with zippered allergy resistant waterproof protection. The Yellowstone River is the longest undammed river in the lower 48 states and this stretch is known for great trout fishing. You're bound to see bald eagles, golden eagles, geese, ducks, sand hill cranes, great blue herons, pelicans, swans, osprey, hawks, and owls. The amazing views of Livingston peak never seem to get old. We had a girls trip here in the accommodations were great. The sunrises were breathtaking. We saw bald eagles, deer, and a moose. We definitely recommend as a relaxing place to say with a gorgeous view.

We had a great experience at Yellowstone River Retreat. The view from the back porch is absolutely breathtaking. The location feels like you are in the mountains but is so close to town. The owners were amazing and so helpful and available for any of our needs.

Amazing stay! We would stay again!

This property was wonderful! Everything inside was super nice, clean, and comfortable. The view took my breath away every time I looked or went outside. We saw a young moose, geese, deer. Everything was perfect, Thank you to the hosts for sharing their beautiful property!

Lovely stay

A group of us stayed here over the weekend and we absolutely loved the house as well as enjoyed time outside. A few of us got to catch some fish right in the backyard. Terry and Sunny were easy to communicate with for all of our needs. You should definitely stay here!

We loved this home! Great location on the river! We caught lots of trout and saw a moose cross the river in the morning and back in the evening! We also saw 4 deer. WARNING no curtains on any of the bedroom windows and the curtains in the main area do not fully cover the windows!!

Location location location!

You cannot best the location of this property ! Close to shops , hiking , Yellowstone (Gardiner entrance 51 miles) and downtown Livingston , property was exactly as described and so much more ! It was clean , beautifully decorated and perfect for our family - the proximity to the river was amazing and allowed us to fish every day - wildlife was abundant as well - was a trip for the books for us , thanks to the amazing hosts !

Absolutely Beautiful!

This location is perfect. We were able to enjoy the wildlife right from the porch. We saw eagles, moose, and deer right on the property. My husband enjoyed fishing Yellowstone River. Grocery store is extremely close by. The house was very clean and the owners were attentive and easy to reach.

This recently updated country home is the place to get away! There is nothing more beautiful than a sunrise over the river while drinking your cup of coffee. You can either sit on the large porch or on the couch looking out the large picture windows! The house was very clean and the perfect size and location for our annual girls trip! The host was amazing and very responsive to any of our needs! Overall I rate this stay a 5+!

A lovely family vacation spot!

The house is clean and very comfortable, and right on the river. Livingston is 5 minutes away, but we felt like we were away from it all! The house is very accessible fpr those of us using a walker! Host Terry was easy to contact when we needed towels, and the towels showed up within the hour. Loved watching the sun rise from our bed! 😊

This was the perfect spot for me. Close to town yet had deer, moose, and a bear travel through the river side of the property. There is an eagles nest directly across the river. The house is comfortable and well stocked and the owner delightful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!!

The view was awesome from the back patio, bedroom, living room and dining area!!! We saw deer and eagles every day we were there. We liked the location it’s private, but not for from town.We liked the spacious rooms throughout the house.The house was clean and comfortable. They provided plenty towels and toiletries. We really enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck and taken in the view.Its beautiful!! We also walked down to the water and was able to get some awesome pictures.Hoping to return next year. We really enjoyed our time. Thank you for being a wonderful host!!!

MSU move in

This was an awesome place to stay-wish we weren’t so busy moving in our youngest to MSU so we could have hung out and relaxed more. They had everything needed to eat in. A beautiful large deck to sit and relax and watch for wildlife. Everyday at some point deer walked thru the yard and then the views of the mountains and river right in the back yard, could not get any better. We would highly recommend this VRBO regardless of what your visit is for, make sure to have some downtime to enjoy the property!

Wifes Birthday Weekend

Had a few minor issues , but the hosts went above and beyond making things right. The house itself is older, but recently remodeled with plenty of space and rooms for larger groups, we only had four. Beautiful views to the Southeast, with Livingston Peak taking center stage. House sits just a few hundred yards from the Yellowstone river. Lots of wildelife to admire as well. Large outside deck and numerous South facing windows to take it all in. Close enough to town to run and grab groceries or a bite to eat, but the location makes you forget about the noise.

Great location! Incredible river access

We loved our stay here! The back opens up to a wonderful lawn and beyond that, the Yellowstone river. The house was very clean and had everything we might need (utensils, cookware, bags, binoculars, soap, towels, etc). We felt very taken care of. The owners were very responsive and prompt in their replies. The views are incredible and we saw bald eagles from the backyard. Internet was great and reliable. The only suggestion I’d make is that it needs more rugs. Sound bounces off the floor and creates an echo. We had to be mindful of sound after our kids went to sleep. That being said, we’d go back! We loved it, our kids loved it. Highly recommend!
