Creepy, not great neighborhood if visiting
There was a broken bed (??) from the last person staying there and a random man that kept coming in and out to "fix the bed"? Also was terrified to keep belongings in my rental car, not a great neighborhood. Pros is that there are some great hole in the wall restaurants nearby.

Broken bed? I doubt it since it was a newly installed bed. The guy explained he was installing it with your permission. It's strange you twisted the facts. Otherwise, I hope your week stay was pleasant.
