Everything you can ask for, to enjoy Lake of the Ozarks.

Beautiful view. Great place for a picture of the sunrise. Deer and birds greet you about the same time as the sun is rising. Central to many of local must see spots. In Camdenton,you can visit the beautiful “Ha Ha Tonka State park”. Best dock dining spot can be found at “Lake House 13” in Sunrise Beach

Relaxing

Property is good. It was peaceful until the last two nights of our stay. The hotel next door had college kids show up and as the night went on the louder they got couldn't really hear tv or sleep cause it went into the earlt morning hours. The property and condo was clean and not a bad location. Just need quite rules suring rhe week time ours at the hotel next door at the pool area. We enjoyed the deck over looking water with morning coffee and also ate supper out there at night. Overall our stay great.

Great place to stay!

The condo had everything that we needed & the view was awesome as you could watch a parade of boats go by (it was a summer weekend). It was perfect for the 2 of us & our dog. The only drawback was it is quite a steep walk down to the boat dock, if you are not used to it.

Nice week get away

Very clean pet friendly condo. Had everything you need to cook meals and a nice electric grill on porch. Great view nice dock for swimming and fishing. Has a pool but we didn't use it. Needs a screen on main sliding door. Great stay.

The view was good. Close to everything. Too close to the resorts pool/bar area next door. Loud music and party atmosphere from 10am til they stop at 3am.

We’re pleasantly surprised by the amazing view & the interior was awesome. A spacious bedroom, with an excellent mattress & storage. The living room & kitchen is equally nice. Modern bathroom. We enjoyed the deck. We will be recommending this to our friends & we hope to be back

The perfect getaway

This little condo was exactly what we needed. Out of season and during the week it’s very quiet and peaceful. As the other apartments fill up at the weekend it gets a little noisier - walls and ceilings are quite thin. The TV and grill could use an update and but otherwise, no complaints. Would stay again.

Weekend getaway

Sunrise view on the lake. Good location, close to restaurants & services. Small, but clean & relatively updated. No toiletries provided. Recommend taking the hotel entrance in & out of the complex as suggested by owner’s instructions. The secondary entrance is steep & treacherous with a blind entry. We nearly got hit by an incoming car.

Nice condo with a great balcony and view of the water

The condo was as advertised and shown in the video walk through. It was probably the best furnished VRBO we have stayed in to date. The area was very hilly and there was no trailer parking allowed but we found a place to store the trailer and managed to find reasonably level spaces for the motorcycles. There were a few restaurants in walking distance and many, many more in easy driving distance. Dog Days made staying cool in the pool on the 100+ degree days fun. Great place to stay.

Great view; nicely remodeled

Great view, very nice balcony, nicely remodeled. Enjoyed this condo. Stayed 5 nights. On night 4, they partied at the pool at the motel next to the condo between midnight and 2 am. On night 5, there was loud music and loud voices at the pool from the motel next door from 4 pm through 11 pm. When I called the motel and asked them politely to turn down the music, they said they would not do this. Other than the noise, we did like the condo a lot.

Great location and clean/everything-u-need condo!

Really nice, clean condo! I guess I should come to terms with Lake of the Ozark guests coming in laughing and screaming at all hours 1:30 am and later). Also we could not find actual address on any communications and had to call the owner. Owner answered phone call immediately but not vrbo msg. Other than that, the condo was perfect for our needs and wishes :) Would stay here again!

Just a few days in the Ozarks!

Dave, we enjoyed our short stay very much. It's been many years since we've been to the lake. In fact the new road was not there. Your condo was just perfect for the two of us. Location is great and very easy to access with new roads and bypasses once you figure them out. Maybe the only disappointment was the no WIFI in the condo. We could use our smart phones, but I had taken my laptop and was not able to use it. But maybe 3 days away from my computer was what I needed. Thanks again

Good with a few difficulties

The view with lake was great. Cleanliness was adequate. Ice maker in refrigerator was broken and leaked water on floor. Dryer latch did not function correctly and made drying clothes more lengthy. Grill was not clean and needed new brush to clean grate. Did not use. Would of liked more instructions on how devices worked.

Clean, Comfy but, Potentially Noisy.

The condo was clean and very comfortable. The condo property was clean and well-maintained. I felt the neighborhood was safe and there was a grocery store 5 minutes away. The lake view was beautiful and during the day it was quiet and serene. It would have been a perfect weekend getaway except for the pool and clubhouse located next to the condo unit. We arrived Saturday night and there was a party in full swing. We thought it would end at midnight but it went on until 3 or 4 am! We heard everything! We thought Sunday night would be better but it wasn't. It got going about 4pm and went all night until 3 am! I'm not sure if this is a normal occurrence or if this was just a certain group of people down at the lake. Had it not been for the total lack of sleep for 2 nights it would have been great!

Quiet with a beautiful view

Great place! Sure, there are other places around the lake with more glitz and glam but this was perfect for our needs for several reasons. Great location for one. It's just one exit away from grocery stores, restaurants and ice cream! Next, it couldn't be more pet friendly. We loved the tile and laminate flooring cuz we could easily sweep up any dog hair. Next, we loved how quiet it was. Admittedly, we were worried about being so close to the bridge. I guess my map made it seem closer than it really is. The units sit on a lovely cove. Perfect. Now, I must mention that we were there Mon - Sat so we didn't get to experience too much weekend partying except Friday night. One unit across the parking lot had a gathering with some music and the Grand Glaize In next door had some event that brought out the music. But nothing bad enough that we couldn't sleep. Weekends at the lake are definitely than weekdays. Lastly, the owner was extremely responsive. Terrific to work with.

Why they chose this property

Hawk Nest is right at the Grand Glaze Bridge on the south /west corner so access to both sides of bridge to get to all the action/restraunts/shopping mall is just a mile or so both directions. Plus it has a up front /direct view of lake as to relax and kick back and sip on a cold refreshment
