We had the loveliest weekend at Mill Pond Cottage! Beautiful views, a gracious and charming home, spotlessly clean. It was close to everything we wanted to do and was so welcoming to return to at the end of the day. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a great stay here. The view of the pond was a great way to wake up. The house was very clean - we had several people with dust allergies who had no issues. It is important to be aware that the room with 2 twin beds does not have AC if you are there on a hot week.

Lovely waterside getaway

We had a wonderful relaxing family vacation. The house cozy snd very well stocked has spectacular water views and bird watching; great proximity to all kinds of activities, dining, and sightseeing. Our host were very responsive to any questions we had. The house is filled with lovely oil paintings and antiques. We would come back!

The house worked great for our stay. But be advised the lock box is not visible when walking up the suggested entry steps. But hidden behind the screen door's frame. The matching lock box on the front of the house that is visible works but the hand lock was locked. Plus once the lock has been opened on the suggested entry door. You need to push heavily onto main door to open it. Last to lock it. The instructions state pushing any button locks it. It does not, you have put the original code in. Yes I would rent again as everthing else was fine.

We’ll have maintenance check the lockbox visibility and codes, inspect the front hand lock, and adjust the door so it opens smoothly after unlocking. We’ll also update the entry instructions to make the correct locking/unlocking steps clear. Glad the house otherwise worked well, we hope to host you and your family again!

Clean, great location and comfortable for our family

Mill Pond Cottage was overall a great stay! The house was clean and comfortable. We had difficulty checking in initially as we weren’t sent the code at time of check in. However, we were able to get in touch with the property manager within a few minutes. Also, in the bedroom with two twin beds there is no AC. The 2 other bedrooms do have the AC units and it did get quite chilly when they were on! The beds were comfortable and there was good space to set up a pack and play for our son. Be careful during morning and evening hours with the bugs.. there are plenty of mosquitos around!
