Nature & Environment One of the most memorable parts of staying in a Broken Bow cabin is being surrounded by nature. Because this property is located in a wooded setting, guests may encounter wildlife and seasonal elements during their stay.
Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.
During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.
Keeping doors and screens closed whenever possible helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout your stay.
We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.
What To Bring We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.

Best Cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The beds were very comfortable, the water pressure was great for bathing, and the kids really enjoyed the slide. I’ve been to Broken Bow many times and this was hands down the best cabin we’ve ever stayed in. Would definitely recommend and we would like to stay again!!

Quick Trip
Quick Trip to broken bow, everything was great! Home was stocked with any and everything we needed and it was a comfortable stay. Small drive in to town/surrounding areas abut still an easy one. We even had to reach out to the host during the trip, in which we got a quick response!
Our stay at Headed West was all we could have wanted. We took our 12 year old granddaughter who had decided that she wants to come back and live there when she is grown.
My only suggestion would be to install hand rails in the showers for handicapped people. I am in a walker and get nervous when i am in the shower and don't have anything to hold on to.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities, communication
This place looks beautiful when you drive up to it, but once you get a good look it’s horribly infested with bugs, there are literally 20 bee nest on the porch, tons of spiders and spider nest. we also found a black widow by the kids slide. The bugs made it impossible to enjoy the hot tub/porch Tried to reach out to management and they said “sorry to hear that”. Me and my family have rented numerous cabins in broken bow over the years and none have been this infested. If you have a bee allergy or if you don’t want to be rushed to the hospital after being bitten by a black widow DONT RENT HERE.
