The perfect place to land

This house has everything to make our stay comfortable, relaxing, and easy. The kitchen is fully stocked and the BBQ grill with deck, fire pit, and giant umbrella makes hosting family and friends so easy and fun. We have found our home away fromHome in Michigan while visiting family and friends. We look forward to many more memories created here.

Nice home with many nearby conveniences

This is a nice comfortable home on a good sized lot in West Bloomfield. It was quite peaceful while still being just a short drive from anything you might need. The house was well-stocked and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Perfect family destination

We gathered with family for Thanksgiving this year and this house was the perfect place to host. It is a great open layout which allows for interactions and conversations to occur while cooking in the kitchen. The property is great for gathering around a fire. We look forward to making more memories here in the future

Classmates Vacation

Really enjoyed our stay, home stocked with all supplies needed. Could have had a few more towels. Other than that our group had a fabulous time in the city. Attended Detroit Catholic Central Boys Bowl. Would recommend this place and will definitely stay again if the need arises.

US Junior Amateur Stay

Booked this property due to its proximity with Oakland Hills CC. Safe quiet neighborhood about 35 minutes north of DTW. Home furnishings were a tad older, but the home was very well equipped and had an awesome back deck, fire pit and charcoal smoker. Kitchen very nice with all necessities. Communication with owner was easy and flexible.

Very lacking no k cup coffee maker no water bottles not even one case the patio in the back filthy spiderwebs everywhere the firewood is way in the back. You can’t even get it. I hurt myself getting it.The step that goes down to the fire pitDoes not continue somebody almost took a dive the ice it’s in the fridge at at least two months old the vents are loose that leather couches that you can sit on you keep falling from it keeps sliding from under you. It’s way too big for that place. I would never go back. We have been there twice now never again. The whole house squeaks.Poulty homes not enough chairs to sit outside I had to bring my own chairs my own coffee maker. I had to bring a blower to clean the back come on man.

Owner’s Response: We appreciate all feedback and always strive to provide a welcoming and comfortable stay for our guests. That said, we would like to clarify a few points for future travelers reading this review. Our home is designed to be a cozy, family-friendly space—not a short-term party rental. We do have a 5-day minimum stay requirement in place specifically to discourage large gatherings. During this guest’s stay, we had to issue an official notice due to noise concerns, a vehicle being driven in the backyard, and furniture being left outdoors. Upon departure, garbage was left piled on the deck and the deck lights were broken, which does not reflect the respectful care we typically see from our guests. Regarding amenities: we provide a traditional drip coffee maker, stocked with coffee, cream, and sugar, but we do not supply K-cups. Our large sectional sofa is intended to accommodate families for movie nights and gatherings. The deck is made of durable, low-maintenance Trex-style composite material that does not require treatment and cannot be “dirty” in the way natural wood might be. Our firewood is stacked neatly along the back fence, away from the home and shop, in accordance with fire department recommendations and common-sense safety. Steps, deck, and outdoor areas are all up to code and exactly as pictured in our listing. We take pride in consistently receiving excellent reviews for going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.
