Lovingly updated, high-end, furnished brownstone apartment close to NYC available in beautiful downtown Jersey City from an experienced host. The apartment is a short walk to the train to NYC (PATH train from Grove Street). Dining, shopping, and Van Vorst Park are just steps away.

Master bedroom features a king bed, double vanity marble bath, original marble fireplace, closet, and 50 inch TV. Beautiful kitchen features high-end appliances, marble counter-tops, large island, marble fireplace, and dining table. The Living room with 50 inch TV doubles as bedroom featuring a queen Murphy bed with 12 inch mattress, walk-in closet, and marble bath. Sleep another two people on the Pull out full couch in kitchen. Balcony out back features seating for 6 and is a quiet place to relax after a day exploring NYC and Jersey City.

Pocket doors, plaster molding on ceiling, and 12 inch door moldings take you back to another time.

Outstanding property and experience. Beautiful, comfortable and enchanting. Very comfortable beds and gorgeous bathrooms. Many lovely places to eat in walking distance. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Statue of Liberty via Liberty State Park in NJ. Enjoyed family time playing the board game Sorry that was available at the property. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful few days staying at the property. It was exactly as described in the listing and very convenient for the PATH into New York. The beds were very comfortable and the whole apartment very well equipped. Kristina was quick to respond with any questions and she allowed us an early check-in which was much appreciated. We will definitely stay here again.

Family Gathering

Our stay at this historic brownstone was wonderful. It is easy walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, the Path... pretty much anything you needed/wanted was within reach. The street is a bit busy and there's a dog park across the street with some early noise but we were up and out early most mornings anyway.

What a Gem! Perfect location

We came to visit NYC for the week and chose this place because of the size and proximity to the subway. We were delighted that it is even more charming than the pictures make it look. The Murphy bed and the separate bathroom make it perfect for two people or two couples. Would definitely return!!!

Great Place to Recharge in Jersey

This was a great rental experience. The property was just as advertised. Very comfortable beds and accommodations in a great neighborhood. The property was close to the PATH trains and lots of great restaurants.

Absolutely fantastic!!

The location, amenities. notes/instruction binder was all amazing. The architecture of the brownstone is wonderfully spacious and very comfortable. The check-in process was easy and simple. Could not have asked for a better stay.

Absolutely beautiful and upscale! 14 foot ceilings, arched doorways, beautiful floors and moldings!

My wife and our three adult daughters stayed here five nights and loved every minute. The amenities are top notch. The master bedroom bed is probably the most comfortable we have slept in. Walked 3 to 5 blocks to stores, restaurants, the PATH train and will definitely try to return to these accommodations when we come back to New York!

Best rental!

This property was absolutely perfect for our long weekend trip to sight see in NYC with our kids. The property is absolutely beautiful and clean! The owner had helped with parking information prior to our trip, so I was able to pre-book parking. The lot we used is a short walk from the property. Our kids loved the Murphy bed! The Path station was also a short walk. Overall, this is probably the best property we have stayed at! Would definitely stay again!

Well-maintained, beautiful home with easy access to Manhattan.

We loved our stay in this beautiful flat. It's in a great area in Jersey City with lots of restaurants. A very easy PATH trip or ferry ride (our preference) into Manhattan. Such a nice quiet spot to recover from the city. The flat itself is nicely decorated, comfortable, and the kitchen is a cook's dream with any equipment you may want. My personal favorite was sitting on the back deck and watching squirrel politics. A very enjoyable place to stay. We'll be back!

Girls trip to NYC

This home was beautiful and a very easy few blocks walk to the Path station. Easy to get into Manhattan. We had 5 of us stay which worked out well for sleeping; master bedroom, Murphy bed and a pull out full size couch. Park across the street was quiet and had a farmers market on Saturday. I highly recommend this listing and would definitely stay here again. Felt like a calm, safe neighborhood!

Very nice unit

Nice unit, great location. Walk to Path station and many restaurants. Communication with the owner was very good. We went to New York City everyday with no issues. Walking around the area was pleasant with lots of other walkers. Plenty of good restaurants walking distance. We enjoyed every place we ate except Luna. The unit was very clean and comfortable.

Jersey City Gem!

This Jersey City home was such a treat to arrive to after a long day of flying coast to coast, especially with the proximity of its location to Newark Liberty Airport. We arrived with my elderly parents and my 10 year old twins in tow so I was grateful to see that this brownstone was very spacious, clean, comfortable and nestled away in a safe neighborhood. The space between rooms is ample, even with the Murphy bed in the living room. It is equipped and supplied with all the basic things you need to function in all rooms. Everything you need for groceries, pharmaceuticals, beauty/hygiene and dining is all within 2-15 mins walking distance. The apartment has a cart and reusable bags available for any shopping trips you may need to make. We never had any issues getting anything we needed, the neighborhoods were all great to walk through morning, afternoon and evening. My elderly parents and young twins easily accessed the PATH within 8-10 minutes. After long days in NYC we always enjoyed coming back to the low key neighborhood to enjoy Van Vorst Park with our kids. We were able to get to Liberty State Park and enjoy the many sights and things to do there within 8-10 minutes by Uber or Lyft. We are more than pleased to have called this our temporary home for 8 days and 7 nights. We can’t say enough about the peace of mind we had knowing we were in a safe neighborhood in a secure building and unit. We will definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back!

Beautiful Getaway!

I highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit the New Jersey/New York area. It was pretty easy to find, accessible to the PATH and in a lovely neighborhood. We traveled as 2 couples. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. I had never been on a train/subway but the system was pretty easy to navigate and Kristina was helpful in providing direction. The PATH takes you right to 33rd street in Manhattan and we walked everywhere around the city. The food was great and the people were very helpful. Don't bring a car if you can help it. If you do Edison Parkfast was better priced than Littleman, by almost half. Our time was limited so most of our days were spent in NYC but you should definitely try to explore the neighborhood a bit. I highly recommend the quick walk down to Jersey Street in the early morning for fresh hot bagels at Wonder Bagel. We only discovered this place on our second last day but made the most of it! We had delivery from Carmine’s pizza, subs from Stella’s, and great Mexican food at the Taqueria on Grove St. The codes to access the building and the apartment were excellent. We felt very secure. Leave the key in the lock box if you split up so whoever gets back first can get in. I listed a couple things below I think would be handy for people to know….nothing on the list would stop anyone in our group from renting this place again, it’s just FYI stuff. -The double sliding pocket doors have etched glass, not frosted, it’s still fairly private but I'd plan on dressing in the bath or the large walk in closet -No telephone (Bring a cell, important for international travelers to buy some minutes and for anyone else since you’d need one in a medical emergency) -No instructions for garbage/recycling, working appliances, thermostat etc… -Limited towels/linens (only one face cloth each and the 2nd bath didn’t have any towel bars/hooks to dry your towels. Didn't mind doing laundry almost daily but seemed like a waste of water/power/soap. Also, the 2nd bath shower doesn’t have a place for shampoo/soap. It all has to go on the floor -No clock in the livingroom/2nd bedroom (even on vacation I like to know the time when I wake up at night without having to go out into the kitchen) Overall we loved this place and our trip. We can't wait for the chance to come back and this apartment will be the top of our list!

Overall, this place is exactly what we were looking for! We were staying for a concert at Metlife and also to explore NYC for a few days. The location has easy access to PATH with a short walk, and was a great respite away from the city. The apartment itself was beautiful, super clean, and cozy. My only complaint is the barking dogs right outside the master bedroom window early in the mornings. I knew this was in a neighorhood and expected some noise, but I wasn't expecting to be woken up at 6am everyday on my vacation by incessant barking. Other than that, this place was perfect!

Wunderschöner Ausgangspunkt, um New York zu erforschen. Tolle Lage und Ausstattung. Gegenüber eines Parks mit zusätzlicher privater Terrasse. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig, die Küche gut eingerichtet. Wir haben zu fünft übernachtet. Günstiger ist die Übernachtung für vier Personen, da sonst das Schlafsofa im Wohnbereich ausgezogen werden muss. Für uns war das aber in Ordnung. New Jersey selbst ist sehr schön. Jugendliche kann man alleine mit gutem Gefühl in die Stadt gehen lassen. In 20 Minuten ist man in Manhattan, Kosten Punkt 3 pro Person.

Excellent accommodation

It was a perfect place for us. My wife and I flew in after a five-week holiday in South America, and met our son and his wife here, who flew down from Toronto. The two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms offered "togetherness" and comfort, but also privacy. The location is unbeatable, only a short walk away from the PATH train to Manhattan and its attractions. There is an endless selection of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and so are pharmacies and grocery stores. The area felt completely safe at all times of the day.Inside, perfectly equipped. Fluffy towels, loads of pots and pans, good aircon, hot shower ... everything one can expect, and more. The terrace was a great place to have a conversation and a drink before and after dinner.In short, it was as good as any holiday rental could be!
