Amazing property and a fantastic lake getaway with the kids/family. Had an issue with the boat lift not working but owner was super responsive and tried to repair immediately, and was quick to remedy the charges. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay on the lake!
We loved staying here. The lake was very busy on Sat and Sunny which made for excellent boat and people watching from our Adirondacks in the yard. Monday was so peaceful and we had great fun kayaking. Will stay here again.
Lovely property on the most incredible lot on the lake! We enjoyed our time relaxing and boat watching. Surrounded by 'fancy' houses, but we love and perfer this 1960s charmer.
Love this house and the property it sits on! It was paradise My husband and I spent the weekend with our life long best friends. We try to do this once a year and this did not disappoint. House has character, great location! and stocked with everything you need. It was so relaxing. Great set up for a few people sleeping wise.
This place is an amazing water front property on Lake Austin! This warm cozy home has perfect views of the lake and Mt. Bonnell that we enjoyed viewing from the inside living room and several outdoor seating spaces. Our family was in awe of this property and it’s convenient location to downtown Austin. The owner was very responsive before and after our stay and had everything setup perfectly at the house for us! We will definitely be back!!!
This charming spot in central Austin was perfect for our weekend staycation to celebrate my husband’s birthday. House is modest but has a stunning view of the lake and Mt Bonnell, and fully equipped with everything we needed: comfy beds, plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, floats for the lake, bath supplies, etc. Kids played in the lush green yard. Outside spaces were well lit for hanging out after dark. We’re eager to go back.
What a great location and a refreshing blast to the past. This perfect lake home from a different era took us back to a simpler and more relaxing time. So great to just hang out and relax with our adult kids and catch a fish from the shore. The home was so nice and clean and perfect for our visit. Lolla was great and communicated everything very well. Thanks! Chris

Beautiful view! Perfect amenities! Peaceful!
This is a great home! Right on the water! Convenient to restaurants and places to see yet peaceful at night giving you the feeling of not being on the city. The owner is very nice to work with and responded every time I had a question promptly. I think if I had small children under 4 running around I would rent the house one over to put some space between them and the gorgeous water. My 3 year old granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed the beach area with her puddlejumper on. The waves were sometimes high and she loved them. I would definitely return here! And the bats every night high in the sky were awesome!

Thank you for your kind words. You are welcome back any time.
This property is in THE most magical amazing location you can ask for. Near everything yet it feels far away from the city. The boats - the water. Sitting outside In All the amazing spots to view the lake and relax. Kayaking up the canal and out onto the river. Easy to relax and enjoy each others company. It was unbearably hot everywhere but the house. The house remained breezy and cool under the huge majestic trees .. which added to the magic. .. we were visited by swans and ducks and a sweet super friendly dog “Brady” although we had plans in Austin. ..we didn’t want to leave the house It was wonderful. You can tell that generations of family have loved this house and enjoyed it. It felt like staying with family or friends. Warm and inviting…my teenagers and me and my husband ..loved it definitely would book again !!
Wonderful views of the lake, and a clean and well-maintained property. Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cookware. Comfortable beds. We didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be booking another getaway here soon!
This property is perfect for enjoying the lake. The beautiful yard with direct access to the water is so nice! The house is immaculate with ample necessities and a wonderful, safe fire pit area. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard. This is a fabulous find if you enjoy the water and serenity. We are planning our next visit! Thank you for sharing this special place.
