SHORT WALK TO PRIVATE ACCESS TO BEACH

Just 200 yards to the sugar white sands of Grayton Beach! This beach house is located in the family friendly community of Gulf Trace which is surrounded by State Parks on three sides and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. Restaurants and bars of Grayton Beach are less than one mile away.

The owners have added a huge covered outdoor rec area with ping pong that 'youngsters' of all ages will enjoy. A giant deck overlooks the tree lush State Park and the new private heated swimming pool. Fee for heating the pool is $50 per day. The newest addition to the tremendous back yard area is an enormous patio with comfortable wicker seating. The large front screened porch is perfect for meals and relaxing.

The completely redesigned 4 bedroom 4 tiled bath interior is spacious and fun. The two queen masters each have French door access to the screened porch, a TV and a private bath. The bunk room has two sets of built in bunks and sleeps four. It has a smart TV with DVD player and its own bath. The remaining bedroom has a twin and a double with an adjoining bath.

Our dining area seats ten at the table and four at the eat in counter. The living area has a smart TV and DVD player.

The exterior has two showers. One with hot and cold water. The washer, dryer and additional refrigerator as well as a half bathroom are located in a large ground level room near the pool.

Great location with beautiful pool and beach

The host was quick to respond to my questions. The heated pool was amazing in the fenced backyard. Everything was clean and as advertised on the website. Private access and private beach comments on Facebook had me worried, but the beach we were able to use was just about a five minute walk away. great place to stay! Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked.

Perfect location

We started at Grayton Daydreamin’ and it was the perfect spot - near the beach and the state park if you care to also walk those trails. The house was fully stocked in the kitchen and the beach toys. The two outdoor showers and separate fenced area below the house was a great place to store the beach items without Bringing the sand into the house. We look forward to returning.

This beach house was so cozy and comfortable. The owners have worked hard to make the house comfortable for their guests. The bedrooms are super comfy and the bathrooms are very well done. What a treat for each bedroom to have a private bath! The owners were so easy to work with. Any question I had was answered thoroughly and quickly. The Gulf Trace neighborhood has long been a favorite for our family. It's a safe area that's away from the crowds but still just a short drive from everything. The beach is a very easy, very short walk. You're gonna love it!

Not Worth The Price - Poor Quality House Needs Remodel

Our family has been coming to Rosemary Beach and the Gulf Trace area for over 25 years. While this house had a good location on the beach, the size and quality of the house did not warrant the high price charged. Also, almost all dishes were dirty when we arrived, and the plug-ins in all bathrooms were tripped. It took over night to get any response.

Perfect family beach house

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 days at Grayton Dreamin’. The house layout was perfect for us, 5 adults and 2 children. We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The beach was so convenient, only a short walk on the road and the house had lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for the kids. The pool was perfect. Right out the back door. Couldn’t have been more convenient. The owners were great to us, I will definitely consider returning.

Adorable and Quiet Neighborhood/Beach!

This house is a little dated but worked well for our group. It’s located in a small community with an AMAZING beach with no one on it! The private (heated) pool and outside areas made the house although the outside furniture could use a refresh. Some of the furniture was broken and stained/faded. There are some toys and old chairs you can use for the beach, which is nice. There are multiple seating areas outside as well including a screened in porch which was nice to use when it rained. At night it was very quiet with hardly any noise. Inside the kitchen is small with not a ton of storage. It has everything you need and all appliance work. The four bedrooms have their own bathrooms. AC works very well as did the ceiling fans. We enjoyed our time in Grayton Beach and would definitely return to the area. Thank you!

A lovely holiday house in a good location a few minutes from the beach.

We had a great time with friends in this house. It isn’t done up which we didn’t mind at all as everything was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The mattresses were comfortable (except one!). It is only a short walk to the beach and a short car or bike ride to the town or store.

We had a wonderful time at Daydreamin’. The house is much cozier (in a good way) than it looks in the pictures. The neighborhood is a perfect location and the beach can’t be beat. We would definitely stay here again. There were a few issues with broken patio furniture, burnt out light in the pool, hard to work key lock box and spotty internet. The router could be updated and maybe moved to the living room area. The laundry is down under the house in a pool house type area. We would order a golf cart next time! The owners were very quick to respond. The cleaners did take our dust pan so that wasn’t great, but not the owners fault.

We really enjoyed our time here. The home is set up with one bathroom off each bedroom which is great. The property backs up to the state park so it’s a quiet and natural setting that was enjoyable. Pool and deck area was great. Best surprise was the bathroom on the bottom floor that was easily accessible when you have a kids with wet swim suits or sandy feet. Small issues we had included a couple of beds having sandy sheets despite the fact that they should have been new clean sheets, everything is pretty dated and the kitchen has everything but seems to be quantity over quality is some cases. It should be noted that the laundry was on the bottom floor, not actually inside the living quarters. This was not a problem for us. Thanks for a nice place to stay! We’d come again!

Gulf Trace Gem

Loved our stay- it was just what we needed. I truly appreciated that is was quiet. Our family takes social distancing and COVID precautions seriously and we could truly relax at this location. We were able to truly spend a lot of quality time while not surrounded by people- the beach this time of year is still lovely and was very quiet with hardly anyone on it, we would walk daily and hardly encountered other people. We were able to easily get our groceries delivered and with the private and heated pool we had everything we needed. I really like the set up the house with the four rooms off to the sides and the heart of the home in the center with an open kitchen and living area. It helped us to have quality family time while still having our own space as needed. I loved eating out on the front deck while it was raining- and the backyard is truly gorgeous. We all loved swimming at night under the moon and stars. The only thing I missed was a hairdryer- we could not find one, but since I was not going out anywhere- it really did not matter that there was not one at the house (and I didn't think to pack one). I would suggest bringing laundry detergent and dishwashing powder if you want to use either- we ordered some to be delivered with our groceries, as we could not find any in the house. Overall, I highly recommend. It was a very relaxing location and we all enjoyed it very much. If it was not a pandemic- we would have rented bikes and could easily have biked to Grayton or Seaside- but decided not to for this trip. That will have to be a future adventure!

Perfect house and location

This house was amazing! So close to the beach yet secluded from neighbors. The pool was a great place to spend part of the day and the outdoor furniture was comfortable. Love the downstairs fridge and bathroom - it kept people from soaking the inside of the house! The bedrooms were well spaced so you couldn't hear anyone else and each had its own bathroom. The kitchen had EVERYTHING. Really, the pictures don't do the house justice. If I could live on the screened front porch I would! Also, the host was very responsive. We thought the A/C wasn't working and she responded very quickly (it was working...I think everyone bringing their stuff in at 4pm maybe was too much hot air for it to keep up!). I would absolutely stay here again.

What a Great Place!!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay! The house was a perfect layout for our families. We loved all having our own rooms and bathrooms. We did discover a few broken things like the skimmer and the ping pong paddles. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would stay again!!
