The Double Eight property is located on the face of the Big Horn Mountains, 7 miles from the quaint western town of Big Horn, Wyoming. It is uniquely situated on a ridge between Hidden Valley and Spring Canyon. This premium log home has a stunning panoramic view with all the amenities needed for you and your guests. The indoor and outdoor features will amaze and entertain throughout your stay. They include:
• Two living levels (3000 sq ft) home
• Three bedrooms with two king size beds and a queen bed
• Each level has a fireplace, queen size fold-out couch, bathroom, kitchen/kitchenette, and access to the outside with a 360-degree view of Sheridan Valley and the Wyoming Big Horn Mountains
• Sleeps 10 people
• Office with high-speed internet throughout the home
• Three patios, BBQ, and lawn furniture
• Outbuildings are from a 150-year-old homestead property
• End of road privacy
• Surrounded by 1000’s of acres of solitude
• Experience Western Wyoming history in a ranch-like, Yellowstone-style setting
• Property adjoins working cattle ranch
• 100-mile views of the Bear Lodge Mountains in Montana
• Expansive southern view of Little Goose Valley. Little Goose Valley is home to many large horse and cattle ranches, including Canyon, Flying H, and Hidden Valley Ranches. • The Double Eight property is located about ¾ mile down ridge from the historic Spahn’s B&B which operated, more or less, continuously as a short-term rental property since 1986
• Canyon Ranch offers 3 short-term rental options on their property
• Located minutes from Red Grade Road and easy access to Big Horn Mountain fishing, hiking, hunting and outdoor activities
• Visit the Sheridan Land Trust hiking and biking trails located just minutes from the ranch. The Red Grade Trail System is a looping, non-motorized, year-round trail with 17 miles of trail accessible from 5 trailheads between the base at Red Grade Road and Bear Gulch.
• Millions of acres of Big Horn National Forest lands offer unlimited cross-country skiing
• Nearby downhill skiing is available at Antelope Butte
