Property was wonderful. Well stocked, comfortable, and the hot tub was super clean. So many movies to chose from! We hiked Longhead trail and had a picnic at the point. Great place for a girls weekend!

This property was so cozy and peaceful! The decor was so nice. They thought of everything someone may need, all the way down to toys. The house was very clean and tidy. The outside was so beautiful and picturesque. We will definitely be planning a trip here again!

You get what they describe on the page. It was quiet, clean, and cozy. We had 5 stay, it might get a bit tight with anymore than that. You have cell service and Wi-Fi. The fire pit is one of the nicest we have seen. The hot tub was very clean, which seems to be something hard for other rentals to accomplish. We would definitely stay here again!!

House was clean and cozy. Convenient to lots of hiking places, but far enough away to not be in the hustle and bustle of town. We watched the deer, had campfires and had lots of games to play with the kids.

Cozy Getaway

Conveniently located and perfect for families. Our kids enjoyed running around the yard and we enjoyed the remote location. Sunset was incredible! Would stay again.

Perfect getaway

Grassy Meadow was a wonderful house to stay in. Lots of movies and kids games to choose from. Perfect property in the country reminded us of home! Loved everything about it.

Overall good experience. Very clean. Bedroom on opposite sides of the home is nice for personal privacy. Kitchen is well stocked. Excellent movie selection. 20 minutes to just about anything in the area. The roadway to the house is a bit rough and narrow for anyone hauling boat/trailer. the extra-long driveway helped as I had a 24ft pontoon with me. 3 security cameras onsite on 24/7. Suggested tender for fire pit and some starter logs (not everyone is a boy scout). Be sure to read house rules. You are in the woods so expect wildlife of all sorts it is West Virginia.

Overall we had a good time. It was extremely hot during our stay and the two air conditioners had difficulty keeping the house cool. We contacted the owners and they put another one in promptly!

Out in the country

The property was very clean and well-maintained. Make sure you have everything you need as it is out in the country. It is quiet and not too close to people. The rental has almost everything you need to relax and enjoy your visit. It was everything we expected.

Everything was as listed. The place was a little smaller than I had imagined but was still quite adequate. Please note they do have security cameras on the porches which I understand is needed for security. I would hope they are shut off when the property is occupied as the camera on the back porch is aimed at the hot tub which seemed a bit creepy to us.

Had a great time with my husband, daughter, soon-to-be son-in-law and their fur baby, Oakley. House was nicely secluded. Check-in was seamless. Hosts were always hasty with responses to messages. The hot tub was clean and hot when we got there. The house was clean and very welcoming! We really enjoyed the fire pit area in the evenings. The only downside is the road in, as it was very narrow and curvy, but perfect to slow down the pace and enjoy the views, as a passenger. Would definitely return to Grassy Meadows!!
