Get away from it all when you stay at the Sunset Log Cabin on the edge of a cotton field! Only one mile from Clarksdale and a peaceful escape in the heart of where blues music was born. The cabin was moved from my father’s farm in South MS & dates back to pre Civil War days. It was moved to its present location to be the retail space for MS T’s Trees which was a Christmas tree farm my parents started after my father retired from farming. It is a cozy cabin for 2 with covered screened-in outside porches , comfy patio furniture, outside heaters & Great Sunsets! Perfect escape for writers, couples, hunters and blue enthusiasts.

A true cabin experience but feels comfortable like home. It is close to the road but I was able to tune out the car noises. The view of sunset is amazing even in the winter time with the already harvested cotton field. All the necessary accessories are provided and very close to town. I’d suggest staying here.
We stopped here traveling the blues trail. Wonderful cabin! Was more than we expected. Adorable, convenienty located, clean and has everything you need! Highly recommend.
Libby is the perfect host. She has a few different places and the cabin is the second I’ve rented. Loved it. The screened in porch is an amazing place to enjoy morning coffee or anytime really. And like Libby’s other places it’s a short drive into Clarksdale. I would absolutely stay here again.
We had a lovely time staying at the Sunflower Cabin! Cozy place where we were able to relax as a family in a calm countryside setting. Great central location for us to explore the Delta area. Libby is super kind, responsive, and helpful! Thanks so much!
This little cabin has a lot of character and everything you need to enjoy your stay in the Clarksdale area. My fiance and 9-year old daughter loved it!
Such a pleasant location. Comfortable bed, useful amenities. We were in town to spend time with friends and enjoy the Women in Blues Festival. So much fun. So glad we stayed with you.
The cabin is adorable. It is quite small but everything you need is in there. I wish we could have been there in the fall when the weather might permit us to enjoy the outside areas more. We were there mid July, very hot and humid! There is one bed and it takes up most of the space in the cabin. The mini-split AC unit kept it comfortable temperature wise. The couch in the screened in outdoor area that could be available for a third person is not really a great sleeping space but someone could put something together out there to sleep on if the conditions were right. The place is right next to a well used road, the noise wasn’t too bad inside the cabin but it still felt a little less private than I expected. It also could have been a bit cleaner. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was clean, but somehow it still felt it hadn’t gotten much attention in a while. All in all we enjoyed our stay, Libby was prompt in communication with us, and it really was pretty adorable.
This a perfect getaway! I was looking to come to clarkdale to explore the rich blues history and to relax! We didn't want to stay at hotel because we wanted some privacy and relax just the two of us! This place offer everything we were looking for! Privacy, relaxation, and close proximity to everything! The host was available when needed, clean place! I will be back and i recommended this place to anyone who want some relaxation
We really like this little cabin! It’s a perfect blend of both rustic and polished. The cabin itself is a very old authentic log cabin, the furnishings are more on the polished side. The bed is very comfortable! It feels like you are out in the middle of nowhere but you are really 1 mile from town. The screened in living room is so good. It was very windy while we were there so we had to close the curtains around the room, but we still had that outdoor feeling. Just can’t say enough about that except, my husband will be building this at our house!!Ms Libby has thought of everything you need and it’s there! She is very nice. She messaged us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. She is right there for you if she is needed. Did I mention that, that bed is very comfortable! It’s just a perfect lil place to stay! We will definitely stay there again

Cute stay but hot tub?
Hi VRBO, This is a note for you. The stay was very nice. Thank you. However - we had an issue with a hottub being listed (it my main motivation for booking at this high rate). Part of the the original listing, I realized a few days before arriving that no hot tub was in the pictures. I inquired, hot tub was removed from the listing, and then asked how we can "make this misunderstanding right." I got back, "find another place if you don't want to stay here." So help me out VRBO - how will we make right this simple error that should have been caught before selling the site to the public?

Hello,
I am sorry for the misunderstanding. This unit has never had a hot tub . It is a tiny rustic cabin on the edge of a cotton field as shown in the many ,many pictures on the listing . What is not shown in any picture of a hot tub as it has not ever had one .
As we discussed when you originally booked , I told you that the cottage was very tiny ( only 16x16 ) with a screened in porch and that 3 people staying there would be very crowded . At that time I asked you to look at the pictures and be sure that you would be happy with the size of the cabin etc . You had stated that you thought the screened in porch was a living room at first and I explained that it was not . I asked if you wanted to cancel the reservation at that time and you said no . I was concerned that it would be too small for your needs . I assume you realized that there were no other places available that close to town for the festival and decided that it would work for you .
When you mentioned that you thought there was a hot tub about a week before your arrival , I let you know there was not and I again offered to let you cancel with no penalty if it was not what you expected . Again you declined .
The cabin has a 4 night minimum for the weekend you stayed as it is the Juke Joint Festival and it is Clarksdale’s biggest weekend of the year . Accommodations this close to town for this event are always at a premium, and are in high ,high demand. This was the reason for the higher price. People book out a year in advance for this event and the cabin happened to come open because of a last minute change of plans of the usual guests that I have for the festival . It was not priced higher because of a hot tub as there has never been a hot tub on the property and there has never been any pictures of a hot tub on the property . I am sorry if you were disappointed but I did offer twice to let you cancel your reservation with no penalty . Again sorry for the misunderstanding .
Libby is a very professional and responsive host. The place was perfect for my needs, allowed my dog, easy to get to town, yet also a bit on outskirts so not surrounded by hustle and bustle. Pleasant, rustic vibe, relaxing, and would definitely stay again.
