This place is huge. The complaint we had is there’s an attached occupied living quarters to this home. When booking a 13 acre property with this size house, we were looking for some privacy. The tenant never bothered us, but it should be added to the listing for future guest. The house and your communication were both great other than that. Thanks for opening your home to us.
We were in the area for a wedding and a group of cousins stayed at Ohana ranch. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it highly to others! Every bedroom was roomy with its own bathroom. It was light, airy and spacious throughout . Wonderful amenities in the kitchen with any appliance you could want. We only cooked one meal there but I loved all the counter space and island for when I decorated 9 dozen cupcakes. Huge living room for gathering and I imagine the fireplace that we didn’t use would be cozy in the fall or winter. Our favorite spot was the deck in the evenings with cocktails and the morning with coffee. It had an easy to use propane firepit and it was lovely watching a hawk and the deer. We did not use either of the saunas but imagine they would be a welcome addition after spring, winter or fall outdoor activities. Two of our group enjoyed a morning hot tub soak. It really is a treasure in the area and would be great for people headed to or from Glacier national park or even a great stay for a group going to relatively close Quinns hot springs for the day.
We were all super excited about our trip to Thompson Falls, Montana. Its location is central to the Swinging Bridge, Glacier NP, Missoula and Sandpoint, Idaho which we were able to all visit. The cabin is very nice but looks to be still under minor construction. Some of the showers have no doors or curtains which makes taking a shower difficult without having a lot of water to get all over the floors. This was minor but something that would be best resolved for future renters. The home is built next to what looks to be another small apartment that a couple rents and a FedEx business. When I say next to, it is all one structure, not three different structures. The pictures do not show this so do not think it is a cabin all by itself. We thought it was a cabin all by itself when we rented it.Everything else was great. Wildlife comes right up to the cabin which was pretty cool. Everything you need was there. Very clean. So yes, we would stay there again, just get some doors or curtains on a few of those showers.
The house is huge and beautifully accommodated our large group. There are trundle beds plus the primary bed in two rooms that provided beds for everyone. The deck has a beautiful territorial view. Entrance was a piece of cake with the lockbox. The place is very private.
We had an excellent family weekend on this property, that has its pluses and minuses. As advertised, it is brand new; in fact even though it's been offered for over half a year, our conclusion is that it probably has had only one previous rental. 1. The house is spacious and could accommodate more than our nine. Good for adults and kids both. Well accessorized with a few correctable caveats I've passed onto the host. Loved the Hawaiian theme.2. This part of Montana is beautiful and has many outdoor oriented pursuits to offer. Quiet surroundings and beautiful scenes from the house. We were somewhat disappointed that there is not a direct view or better access to the river. 3. Appliances are modern. There is no usable outdoor barbecue grill. We received excellent response to an oven problem; it appeared that it had never been used! It has been now.4. House had received a superficial cleaning, but otherwise cleanliness was not acceptable. Major dust bunnies and dead insects everywhere; under furniture, corners, etc. As if the house had been sitting unoccupied for a long period. The upstairs outside balcony was unusable due to bird droppings everywhere. 5. Some, but not all baths were stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. Some linens smelled stale and others were actually foul smelling. Summary: This house would be a great place for a big gathering of family or friends. However, for the hosts to hang a luxury label, they have work to do.
