About this property
Modern bungalow on the water, near airport and Dublin.
A completely refurbished + modern home on the shores of the beautiful Rogerstown Estuary linking directly to the Irish Sea. Situated in the friendly village of Rush 25 minutes from Dublin Centre + only 15 minutes from Dublin Airport. Our house is wonderfully quiet, only 5 minutes walk from the beach and the local golf.
The house has an open plan kitchen - living area which is very spacious and light with views over the estuary and is well equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, quooker tap and breakfast bar, dining table for 6 and tv area with comfortable couch. A separate lounge and study area, facing the estuary. A spacious master bedroom with full bathroom and 2 guest bedrooms with jack&jill bathroom and a terrace overlooking the estuary and a sunny outdoor space for bbq and dining.
Rush is a quiet farming village on the beach with sporting facilities like GAA, cricket, football, tennis and rugby near by. The train station is 3 minutes drive away with direct access to all corners of the Emerald Isle. 18th Century Newbridge house & farm and Ardgillan castle are nearby. The pre-historic Newgrange monument (older than Stonehenge!) is half hour drive away. Malahide and Skerries are lovely sea side towns nearby and the Howth Peninsula worth a visit. The area abounds with a full range of F&B outlets that should suit all tastes and a full range of shops and conveniences available within 7 miles.

About the host
Hosted by Birgit Couwenbergh

My name is Birgit and I come from Holland. I have lived all over the world with my Irish husband and children and now we have settled in Ireland. I love travelling so know what it is like to have a nice place to stay on your travels. We love sharing our house with others as it is such a beautiful house and in such a beautiful space.
Why they chose this property
Deciding to live in Rush was an easy one! On the water, near the beach, lovely walks, a golf course in walking distance and just a 23 minutes train ride into Dublin and close to Dublin Airport. The quietness of the country side and yet so close to a great city.
What makes this property unique
The Admiral is light and airy, well equipped and I never will get enough of the beautiful sunset just outside the house.
