Welcome to this magical home!

This home offers you indulgent beauty and comfort along with a real Colorado experience that you will remember for years to come. It is truly unlike anything else.

Each room is thoughtfully and stylishly decorated to enhance your Castle Rock experience and make you feel comfortable in every possible way. The large gourmet and fully stocked kitchen opens up to the living room so that you can stay connected while making meals. The living area is a great gathering place, large enough to fit everyone and a dining table that seats 10. Open the French doors from the living room and step into an outdoor world of adventure and surprises.

You will love how the one acre lot sits uniquely under the actual “Castle Rock”! If you are feeling adventurous, walk out the back door and onto the path that we have made for you to reach the Castle Rock summit.

My favorite space is a shorter walk just behind the home that leads you to two chairs and a breathtaking view of the Colorado Mountain range. This beautiful unobstructed view shows off the entire vista from Pikes Peak to Longs Peak. Bring a cup of coffee for a quiet, tranquil morning or your favorite beverage at sunset and take it all in!

Kids and adults alike will enjoy feeding the koi fish in the small pond, creating games and dramas on the giant stage, throwing horseshoes, shooting hoops and discovering the surprise tree “fort.” Or kick your feet up and rest in the hammock to the sounds of the waterfall. The large trees in the fenced yard create a mountainous feeling of solitude even though you are just a short walk into town.

This is a home where no one will be bored! For indoor fun there is a mini-foosball table & pool, a fun selection of board games, a vintage video game and a large screen TV.

If you ever decide to leave this magical oasis, it is a quick and easy walk into the town center enriched with cafes, shops and ice cream parlors!

This place had everything we needed. The layout of the house was great for our group. The kids had plenty of spaces both indoors and out to hangout, while the adults enjoyed the spacious Kitchen, dining and living room. The location is amazing with hiking trails in the backyard leading to main trails going up to The Castle Rock.

Wonderful family getaway!

This property was an oasis for our family getaway! Such a lovely property with space to spread out. Many magical nooks and crannies. Short hike to Castle Rock and short walk to the quaint town of Castle Rock. Many amenities including alot of games for family fun.

This is a beautiful home inside and out! The beds were very comfy. The home was very roomy and accommodating for our family. The outside was soo much fun! From the outdoor firepit to the cornhole game…. Not to mention the nice hammock and horseshoe spot! This home has it all. The location was ideal. Close to everything and the girls walked the neighborhood in the evening. We would absolutely recommend Brian’s house!!

Winter wonderland

We came for the Nasharite gathering (A church conference) in November. It snow A LOT while we were there and was beautiful! Close to dining and coffee shops for outings. The house had plenty of room for all 10 of us and had a great gathering space in the living room for morning Bible studies. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan on coming back in the future.

Amazing space for vacation

My family was in town for a wedding. This home was a great location with plenty of seated gathering spaces for family dinners and so much for the kids to explore in the back. The owner was friendly and responsive. We had no issues with the stay. House is tucked back next to Castle Rock so it feels more secluded but still less than 5 mins from multiple grocery and other stores.

Great location and backyard!

We have a wonderful stay- just 4 of us so we each had our own rooms. The backyard was relaxing, with plenty of space to hang out and if our kids were with us they would have loved the swing and scavenger hunts. My favorite part of the backyard was the secret trail and the hike path up to the Rock. We did it 4 times over our 3 night stay. Castle rock is a great location with local things (outlet, food, escape room) and downtown Denver (union station) or Colorado Springs (garden of the gods) just 45-60 mins away. Brian was very communicative and responsive! This was a great VRBO in castle rock!

Great home for a family gathering

I was in town for my father's memorial service so there were a lot of family members in town as well. My daughters and I stayed at the house and absolutely loved it. It felt like a retreat and the house and property were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the Colorado experience. We had a family dinner at the house and most of my immediate family was there. There was plenty of room for all of us and some of the younger teens really loved exploring the property and trails. Several of my family members commented that they would be interested in staying there on future trips to Castle Rock. Thanks Brian for hosting us.

Why they chose this property

This home is located in a neighborhood that has best of all worlds. The house sits on nearly 1 acre of land but backs up to "Rock Park" that has multiple trails leading up to "The Rock. It is situated on a quiet side street with views of the train every few hours.

Walk to downtown historical Castle Rock for great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and shopping! A walk of 3-15 minutes gets you everywhere downtown.

What makes this property unique

It should be noted that the home is within a few hundred feet of the iconic train and tracks that runs through Castle Rock at all times of the day. After a fatal accident occurred over 30 years ago, the train honks as it passes through these nearby intersections. These honks happen day and night. The town has approved infrastructure to make these "quiet zones" some time in late 2023 or early 2024, but some travelers have voiced they have a hard time sleeping thru the night. I have ear plugs in the home for use if needed.
