About this property

Charming farmhouse in a rural setting with an easy drive to Purdue

Enjoy the quiet country setting, only 25 minutes to Purdue. Our three bedroom two bathroom farmhouse is located right off Interstate 65 between Chicago and Indianapolis. We are just a few miles south of Wolcott, IN

The home features an open concept fully stocked kitchen, dining and living room. The large open space with vaulted ceilings leads out to a large deck with built in seating that's perfect for relaxing and enjoying the country atmosphere.

The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and an attached three quarter bath. There are two bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom features a queen size bed as well as a vanity and mirror for getting ready. A Jack and Jill bathroom leads into the third bedroom that has a full size bed.

The basement offers a ping pong table and pop a shot basketball for some extra fun. There are also a few outdoor toys provided for you to enjoy during your stay.

The house sits on a four acre yard that shares a driveway with the adjacent working cattle farm. You will see the cows from time to time from the house. We will need access to the driveway to feed the cattle daily.

There are a few restaurants and a grocery store within 10 miles of the house.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the cows and had a calf try to race our van on the way to the house. We were in town for a family wedding and the house is located close enough to I-65 to make it a convenient drive to the Lafayette and surrounding area.

Perfect for Purdue Graduation

Location to West Lafayette was close so getting to the various graduation activities was easy. House was very clean and roomy. Really enjoyed seeing the cows and fascinated by the windmills.

Gorgeous property. Beautiful, relaxing setting on a working farm. House is spacious, comfortable and very well stocked. Host is very thoughtful, we were greeted with snacks and bottled water. We look forward to returning. East trip up/back to Purdue where we were visiting our daughter from out of state.

If you want a peaceful setting that is easily accessible from I-65, this is the place to go. Easy checkin, everything very clean, outdoor deck is very nice. The windmills in the fields are so cool! It was perfect for a meet-in-the-middle get together. We will be back!! Thanks Missy!

Purdue Visit

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful farm! Plenty of room, clean, well stocked. About 30 minutes from Purdue. Missy was super communicative and helpful! Would definitely stay again- wish we had longer this time.

Weekend Stay Review

My friends and I stayed here to celebrate my graduation from Purdue. The house is beautiful, cozy, and fit everything we needed! More importantly though, the host is responsive and considerate! I accidentally left my tassels at the house in the packing rush, and she reached out and offered to ship it out to me. 100% would recommend this place!

Farmhouse stay on visit to Purdue

On a trip to visit our son at Purdue and attend sporting events. House was comfortable and clean, with lots of amenities. Easy half hour drive to Purdue campus. It is 15 minutes away from the closest grocery store, so plan ahead. Very quiet and peaceful, great deck, and good space. We will visit again!

The host was very welcoming and the property made you feel like it is your home. It's in a very quiet rural area. The house was clean and had such a cozy, relaxed vibe. It had all the amenities you would need. We played ping pong and basketball shootout in the basement. The cows even came up by the house to say hi! We were visiting our son at Purdue, it's an easy 30 minute drive to campus. 10/10 recommend this property to anyone, we will definitely be back.

Awesome Rural Spot

Quiet area with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The road out front is not terribly busy, but what traffic is there is going by fast. The bedrooms were all comfy, the basement was perfect for my exercise routine, and the kitchen has most of what you need to cook all your meals. We found our way to the local winery, and had a pleasant afternoon. We were also able to see 3 or 4 different July 4th fireworks shows from the front yard.

Farm House Paradise not far from Purdue

Great house! Three bedrooms , Two bathrooms one of which is Jack and Jill style between the upper bedrooms. Nice front porch to enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee in a rocking chair while looking out over beautiful green crops . Great back porch. A nice game room in the basement. I really like the fact they had bottled water waiting for us chilled in the refrigerator and a basket of snacks. We were here to move our son into Purdue his junior year in an unfurnished apartment. We went back-and-forth several times and moved supplies in and out of the garage to re-organize and bring to his apartment. This house is 25 minutes from the Purdue campus. We will definitely stay again!
