Great spacious house! The quick beach entrance and short walk on the beach to restaurants a major bonus. The house staff/host were so helpful with so many things. Maribele went above and beyond. We will definitely visit again.

Great house, What you see in the photos, is what you get. Don't expect a gourmet kitchen,it's very basic. The stuff is friendly and helpful.

Great location. Large bedrooms. Several spacious areas where our family could relax and discuss the day’s activities. Our 11 family members had a great time in and around the pool.

The host Martin was very helpful prior to our trip and the staff at the house were great! The outside and pool area had lots of space for all 10 of us and the location was a quick walk down the beach to all the restaurants and bars in SJDS. The inside was large and well laid out but a bit tired. The house could use a spruce up, especially the kitchen. We had an issue with one of the toilets but it was addressed in a timely manner. We had a local chef Felicita some and make several breakfasts and dinners and I could not recommend her enough. A great stay overall!

We were in San Juan del Sur for our daughter’s wedding. Casa Serena ticked all the boxes for us. Lots of space for family aged 1 to 71. Fantastic outdoor areas (we spent most of our free time outside at the pool area). Lovely sunset views. Easy walk along the beach to town. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Lovely housekeeper Lisbeth and her family. I will say that some of the outdoor furniture and the fridge are a bit tired, and toiletries provided were minimal, but in no way did this detract from our enjoyment of lovely Casa Serena.

Another great trip to San Juan Del Sur

This property did not disappoint. The staff and host were gracious, quick to respond and always available for anything we needed. The home was as described and had a very well equipped kitchen, the internet was fast and reliable, and laundry service was a bonus with kids. We will definitely return.

A carefree vacation.

Our group of eight ranged in age from 8 to 75. We all enjoyed the house and the location and the surrounding area. The maid was a lovely lady, and the guards were diligent and made us feel secure. The manager was easy to reach on WhatsApp and he greeted us upon our arrival. The house is well appointed with everything that we needed. San Juan Del Sur is a lovely place to visit. And the weather was perfect.

This property is as stunning as the photos show: huge, beachfront, so many places to hang out. We loved the direct access to the beach, the pool, the sun and shade options, the huge rooms, AC in bedrooms, en suite bathrooms, 24 hr security and stunning sunsets every night. Local hikes are great, and drives to nearby quaint and clean beaches with surfing, seating and delicious food are easy especially with new roads. Kitchen is large but I’d say a little tired.Several lights didn’t work but there are so many it wasn’t a huge issue. Beach isn’t the cleanest but fine for walking and sports, even saw a sea turtle lay its eggs right in front of the villa! Can walk to town which we did for lunch (many delicious options) but were told perhaps not advisable at night. Drive is easy and lots of parking.

Wonderful property for a large group. Great location, quick walk along beach to town for restaurants and shopping. Great pool & ocean view. We personally walked into town every day/night and did not have any uneasy feeling safety moments. A/C worked well in all the bedrooms and there was a constant breeze being right next to the ocean.
