My name is Judd Gundersen and I own this cabin with my wife Christine. Christine originally purchased this cabin while we were first dating in 2007. Today, we are married and have a 12 year old son. Our son has been spending time at the cabin with us since 2 weeks old.

After purchasing the cabin our first order of business was to make the yard dog friendly. Our three dogs now enjoy the fenced backyard as well as the many dog friendly activities that the area has to offer.

We try to spend as much time as possible in Big Bear. We usually find ourselves spending more time during the summer at the cabin to escape the heat of Las Vegas, our current home.

While at the cabin we enjoy hiking, boating, fishing, riding motorcycles and ATVs and dining at the many great restaurants in the area.

Why they chose this property

Living in Las Vegas made Christine miss the green landscape of the east coast. She decided to look for property in Big Bear because it has something to offer during all four seasons.

What makes this property unique

We looked at many cabins in Big Bear but were absolutely sold on this one. We loved the sunken fireplace, the recessed lot, the close proximity to Snow Summit and the available trailer parking during the summer.
