We stayed at Destination U in one of the glamping tents on our way down to NC for our annual motorcycle trip. It was the perfect little stop. We had zero problems getting to it on the bike. We road the Eye of the Dragon nearby and hung out at Toad’s Barn and grill right down the road. Great food, drinks, and live music. The tent was comfy and the restrooms just a short stroll away were clean and well lit. I accidentally left a special necklace on the night stand and they were SO kind and went out of their way to send it back to me. I highly recommend and we will be returning in the future!

The bed is big and comfortable. The shower and restroom are spotless. The free firewood was an unexpected gift. The sound of the rain on the tent canvas took me back to my teenage years. My wife and 2 dogs loved our stay as much as I did. It was the perfect way to begin our 30th Anniversary road trip.

There are 7 tents, unfortunately I picked #1 which is not on the river. I feel this should be stated in the description. So upon getting there and realizing this, I messaged the host before unpacking to see if I could get a different tent and it took about 2 hours to get a message back. He was willing to give us a different tent we had to pay another cleaning fee because at this time we had already unpacked out stuff into the room. We decided not to switch tents. The property is great...very quiet and nicely done. I would definitely go back!

The bed was amazing. Best sleep I've had in a while! The bathrooms could've been a bit cleaner, but I understand... it's not a hotel. It's a campsite.
