The climate of San Ramón for me is one of the best in the country, it does not have extreme temperatures, you can also find a great variety in fauna and agriculture.
Another fact about San Ramón is that prices in general are much lower than many other cities, it is also important to mention that it is a healthy town and that you can find rich culture and more family-oriented neighborhoods
city San Ramon Alajuela!
Located in a strategic spot 45 minutes from the airport as well as from the pacific coast!!!
San Ramón is set in the middle of a dramatic mountain landscape, getting there is very doable by car.
Once you arrive, you will quickly notice that Costa Rican culture abounds in this small town and that the pace of life is slow, relaxed and focused on forging strong community ties.
The main square of San Ramón is home to an incredible church, and just north of this famous square is a museum where you can learn more about this city and its history.
The Museum of San Ramón also has a traditional peasant home and many of the exhibits show how this small town played a role in the general history and culture of Costa Rica. If you really want to know more about Costa Rica and the many smaller cities that contributed to its history, taking a trip to the town square and this museum is a must visit.
Despite the fact that coffee is one of the main agricultural products in this area, the city is home to three cigar factories. Consider taking a break from your agricultural explorations and visit one of these factories to get a taste of how some people in this city make a living.
Saturday mornings are the perfect time to experience the vibrant culture of the city by going to the farmers market. Many people from around the area come here to sell fruits, vegetables and even livestock.
