Beautiful views of the Sound and a cozy place to hang your hat; what more could you ask for?The space was very clean and organized with plenty of communication and clear expectations from the host. I would certainly stay here agin.
We really enjoyed this spot! Beautiful view of the ocean and very conveniently located on the island. Close enough to town to be convenient but far enough away be quiet and relaxing. The owner did lots of thoughtful and convenient things to make our stay wonderful! We will be staying here again at some point and definitely recommending it to friends!
The property itself was clean, comfortable, and well located for our needs. It generally matched the listing, and we appreciated the quiet setting and spacious layout during our quick stay. However, we encountered a couple of maintenance issues — namely, a closet door that was off the track when we arrived and a blender that didn’t work despite trying multiple outlets. These were minor inconveniences, and we chose not to try to fix them ourselves, simply working around them. What left a sour note was the post-checkout communication. We reached out in the morning to ask about any checkout procedures and were told not to worry — only to receive a disappointed message from the host later that day, suggesting we had caused damage without giving any notice. We responded to clarify that the door issue was present when we arrived, and it appears there was a miscommunication or misunderstanding. Still, the tone felt unnecessarily accusatory given the circumstances, especially after we tried to be respectful guests throughout. This was a short honeymoon trip for us, and we truly wanted everything to go smoothly. While the property is lovely, the final interaction with the host left us feeling a bit disheartened. A more collaborative or trusting tone would have gone a long way.

Did not honor reservation!
The owners canceled after we reserved and we did not receive a full refund.
The property was clean. The check in process was easy. Good views.
But…this is a part of the house that’s been converted and you can hear every step made in the other apartment. Lots of noise all night. The pillows were very flat and used up. There were no sheets on either bed. Just a flat sheet and an empty duvet cover. We use Vrbo often and this is the first time I’ve encountered beds that weren’t fully made up. No linens to fully make them up. We didn’t get any sleep while we were there. Between the uncomfortable pillows and no sheets on the bed and the noise upstairs. We were on our honeymoon and moved on quickly the next day to find somewhere to get some sleep.
Wonderful experience! The owners of the home are extremely welcoming and accommodating! The view from the backyard is breathtaking! Our stay was very comfortable. I will be returning in the future with my family! Thank you!
Beautiful view of Puget Sound from the windows. The owner provided some staples so we were able to make dinner and breakfast. Her instructions were simple and clear. If I have the opportunity to stay here again, I certainly would.
The couple who owns the property takes very good care of their place. It’s clean, warm, welcoming, and so many wonderfully thoughtful touches! We will absolutely be back for a longer stay next time we’re on the island. And the sunset was incredible to watch from the back yard!
