The views were amazing! We were able to see moose and deer. The cabin was quiet and perfect for our stay. We had family in Lake City so it was a bit of a drive.

Relaxing

The cabin is in a beautiful setting. We saw moose and deer daily on the property. There is no electricity. It was not missed. A great place to unplug. The caretaker stays on the ranch and was great about answering questions about the area and giving us any needed supplies. We will definitely be going back.

Very enjoyable place to stay. Very comfortable and cozy and good location for my hiking goals. I enjoyed having limited electricity and internet as I found out easier to relax and focus on the beautiful location, though I did attempt to soak with the host about it as I needed the internet for a pressing issue and never heard back from the host. I would absolutely stay here again. Though I will say the shower was a bit cold on the hottest setting while the hot water in the rest of the sinks was very hot.I enjoyed the gas lamps and heater as well as the fireplace. The gas stove worked well and i enjoyed the percolater.The fishing ponds were very nice and there's plenty of room to walk and take in the views. Very clean and the caretakers were available, and helpful, and very friendly.
