Beautiful Custom Eco Friendly Home with Private Back Yard POOL

Beautiful furnished plantation style truly custom home on sunny Kaloli point in Hawaiian Paradise Park. We are a legal short term rental with the state of Hawaii. Also eco friendly as the entire house and pool is solar powered with the exception of our gas stove! 15x30 in ground private pool in back for your enjoyment! We now have a 5 night minimum for rentals and a strict 6 person maximum including children. As we are located just a 1000 feet from the ocean as the crow flies, you can listen to the waves crash against the cliffs as you have a relaxing drink on the lanai. Large Lanai off the kitchen dining room area and a large deck as you come upstairs. 2 bedrooms each containing a queen sized memory foam bed and 2 full baths. Two bedrooms are on on the upper floor. By separate entrance there is a third room with queen bed and full bathroom. Open beam ceiling with cooling fans throughout. Comfortable furniture (so important!) with a flat screen TV in both the living room and one of the master bedrooms. Free long distance calls anywhere within the US and Canada. 78 cable channels, wireless high speed internet access anywhere in the house or on the two lanais. Just bring your laptop.

We are conveniently located just 20 minutes from the Hilo airport and 40 minutes from Volcano National park

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF HAVING A PARTY/FAMILY GET TOGETHER, PLEASE RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE. WE WILL START WITHHOLDING DEPOSIT MONEY FOR EXTENSIVE EXTRA CLEANING OF HOUSE/POOL AND PAYING PEOPLE TO MAKE SPECIAL TRIPS FOR EXTRA GARBAGE REMOVAL.

Per Hawaii County code. Please comply with:
(A) Quiet hours shall be from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time
the noise from the short-term vacation rental shall not unreasonably
disturb adjacent neighbors.
(B) Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non -quiet
hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with
a residential area.
(C) Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area.

Great place to stay - we loved it.

This is a great place to stay and especially for families. We enjoyed the back yard pool as well as the spa tub. The property is beautiful and we hope to return some day!

Kea’au house with pool

We enjoyed our stay at the Kea’au house very much. We especially liked the kitchen and outdoor pool and landscaping. The only complaint and reason for 4 stars is a problem with a lot of small black bugs that were attracted to the lights and seemed to be in the house. Just needs some thorough pest control as everything else was great.

Amazing Home & Location!

We have stayed at Melanee and Todd's place quite a few times now. Its the only home we want to stay when we come to the Big Island for work and visiting family. The home is beautiful, clean, large, and very nice. Highly recommend to anyone looking to visit Puna side of the Big Island.

Lovely private home close to stunning ocean view.

Great Property!

House was very clean and had plenty of room for our family of 4. One bedroom has separate access, which worked fine for us but may not work for families with younger children. We really enjoyed the backyard and pool. We swam every afternoon/evening when we got home from activities and used the charcoal grill a couple of times. The house did stay a bit warm for us at night and the frogs were pretty loud with the windows open, but we have AC in our house and like to keep it pretty cool at night. It’s around a 45-50 minute drive to Volcanoes National Park, about 35-40 minutes to Hilo, and 15-20 to Keaau (grocery store and a few restaurants). I had a question about checkout and Melanie responded right away. Overall, we really enjoyed it.

Paradise

Aloha, This is our second stay at Melanie and Todd’s tropical oasis. Last year was 19 days, this time 31, we hated to leave. We can’t say enough about the home, it’s spacious, well appointed, comfortable beds, kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook. There are numerous ceiling fans which keep the rooms comfortable. There is a lanai off the dining room that overlooks the swimming pool and numerous tropical plants. The location is great, your about 40 minutes from Volcanoes National Park, 60 minutes to the turn off to Mauna Kea and 20 minutes to Hilo. I can’t say enough about the house or it’s location. If you enjoy ocean breezes, tropical birds singing, the sounds of the ocean from the lanai this is your chance to enjoy paradise. Thanks Melanie and Todd Neil and Charlotte Adams
