The Circle H Lodge is a spectacular historic property perched on the edge of Lake Granby, with sweeping views of the lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Recently remodeled, it has a stunning top-of-the-line "mountain modern" vibe.
Perfect for a larger gathering of up to 16 guests, the home features 7 individual bedrooms -- each with its own bathroom and spectacular lake views -- and a separate bunk room (also with a bathroom). The 8,800 square foot home has expansive shared spaces to spread out in, including multiple lounging areas, 2 decks, and 2 kitchens. The great room includes a 15-foot bar, a huge stacked stone gas fireplace, and a game area with pool table, Big Buck Hunter and classic video games. Wake up to breakfast around the oversized island in the gourmet cook's kitchen; enjoy coffee or a glass of wine on the huge deck hanging over the lake; relax in the hot tub or sauna.
This 4-season property offers countless activities. In the summer, you can enjoy boating, fishing, fly fishing, hiking, rodeo, etc. Indian Peaks Marina is right next door for pontoon or fishing boat rentals. There is ample parking on the property for a boat trailer, and there are several public boat ramps for easy access to Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, and Grand Lake. For winter activities, there is downhill skiing at Granby Ranch or Winter Park, extensive cross-country skiing and snow mobile trails nearby, or even ice fishing on the frozen lake.
Please note the following: There is parking for approximately 10 cars on the property. Parking is outside, uncovered. There is no direct access from the property to Lake Granby, as the home is on a steep, rocky slope. Guests are able to access the lake from the neighboring marina or from various Forest Service parks and beaches. Common to most homes in the area, there is no air conditioning, as summer nights are usually quite cool (50 degrees). The fire pit table and outdoor fiurniture are covered and put aside for the winter months.
