I know the property was pet friendly but when we arrived we ended up having to wash all the sheets late at night because there was hair on them. The floor was quite dirty so I had to vacuum and sweep as well. The host offered to overnight some sheets to us but what would we have slept on that first night? Not only this but the room with two beds had boogers on the wall and it looked like someone splashed a drink along the wall and there was a dirty handprint. In the end we decided not to leave early but we considered it. Honestly I should’ve pushed for a refund or something.

Spring Week!

Our stay at the Cherry Cottage as lovely and functional! We planned a surprise party and prepped menu in the well equipped kitchen. A perfect location for day trips to Hershey, Lancaster, and Pennsylvania Dutch Country!

We’ve come out to this area of PA many times, this is our second time in Anneville. Great little town and university area. Property is a few short blocks off a main road. House is bright and clean. The master en suite was really nice to have.

Please tell folks that the keypad that they are to use is attached to the front door. We found the old keypad next to the door and had to call to discover that we needed to use the one ON THE DOOR. Otherwise our stay was Excellent. We enjoyed the house. It was easy to find and clean and comfortable. The kitchen was a delight. There were NO problems. Thank you for this nice place to stay.

Great Location

We had all of the amenities necessary to make this such a homie stay. Everything was included, the neighborhood was adorable and had easy access to main roads and restaurants. Quiet area. The only thing that we would change is a little more attention to detail with cleaning. There seemed to be random items left behind in each room. Otherwise, this host was amazing!

Stay with wheelchair

We had a wonderful stay in Anneville. The highway was close and getting to Hershey Park was a breeze. My 8-year-old uses a wheelchair and while she could not roll into the house (there are two steps), the inside was very accessible. The hallway and shared bathroom were both big enough for a wheelchair. While the bathroom doesn't have any accessible extras, it was nice to roll in and turn around. Our family of 5 enjoyed the two bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, and a comfortable couch in the evenings. We used the kitchen to cook a few meals and Instacart delivered from various stores. If you like to shop in person, Wal-Mart is a 10-minute drive.

Cute property

The stay was pleasant and the house was clean. We did find a few things we needed that werent there. We needed a cutting board and didnt have one and couldnt find mixing bowls or a set of measuring cups, there were only 2. We also went and bought kitchen towels as there were none for drying dishes. Maybe its something that will be added? There were plenty of towels and washcloths (all microfiber) for showering :) Three downsides, the neighborhood roads are narrow and the house although new does carry sound. We could hear everything going on in the kitchen and living room from the back bedrooms. So if you have a group and are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. You also can not have two people showering at the same time. We ran out of hot water in 5 minutes. Definitely had to stagger showers. With 6 people, that became a challenge. Overall, we really did have a great visit.

It's a nice place but if you are older the step up in the front and the step down in the back present difficulties and could be improved on. It was clean and neat and well stocked. Nice for two day visit.

Clean, cozy and fully stocked house was perfect for my stay with my daughter and teammate for a local lacrosse tournament. The house is a quick walk to the local coffee shop in the morning and brewery with live music for dinner. Would stay again if in the area!
