Harvest House is an old farmhouse that's been renovated to keep the quirky character and charm. The original hard woods have been preserved where possible, they aren't perfect, but they have a story to tell. Many people say it's like Harvest House "hugs" you like an old friend. It's carefully curated to create a cozy and inspirational vibe.

Hands down, our best experience ever with home rental. This little jewel of a home is undercover as a low-key, simple, historic home in a historic and tiny Texas town. Easy keypad entry, great communication, and much better than described. This house is SO well-designed, charming, and thiughtfully curated. Downtown shopping and local wineries/food/cocktails were excellent, but this rental made us want to move to St. Jo.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was very spacious, comfortable, and full of character, which made it feel warm and inviting rather than just another rental. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. The hot tub was a huge highlight—clean, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day. Overall, this house offered a great blend of comfort, charm, and amenities, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Great weekend stay!

Harvest House is only a few blocks from downtown St Jo (Red River Station) and also minutes away from the area wineries. Check in was super easy, and communication with the owner was great. Property was spotless and extremely comfortable. Owner paid special attention to all those extra little details that help to make a stay so much more enjoyable. Would not hesitate to stay again!

The cabin was the best! The host had the kitchen stocked with filtered water, coffee and snacks. We enjoyed one late evening in the hot tub under the stars. Our only issue was that it wasn’t until our last day in St Jo that we confirmed there was no grocery store in town :) The neighborhood was perfect for wandering into town and meandering through the shops.We loved our trip to the Blue Ostrich Winery and short drive from there to the Oklahoma state line (just to say we’ve been there).

The Harvest House is really cute and cozy. The host has made sure that you have everything you need in a home. I messaged Kris about the temperature of the house and she responded right away and it was fixed. The hot tub is a great addition. We loved everything about this house.

Freaking adorable

First impression walking into the house was how adorable and put together it all looked. Exactly like the photos. Loved the layout- gave me my husband and our teenage daughter plenty of space. Outside section was perfect for us. We had a great time and would gladly stay here again if we get back to the area

Excellent Experience

Kris was great! Provided all the information we needed and answered emails promptly. House was decorated extremely cute and made to feel very homelike. Very conveniently located as a center point for the Red River Station concert on Friday as well as the winery tours on Saturday. If I had to complain about anything it would be leaving. Definitely a top choice to return to.

Great Place to Relax and Unwind

We loved this house and our weekend get-away. Such a cute house in a small, but fun town. So many things that you can do nearby as well with the wineries, breweries, shops on the square, golf, and cute places to dine and listen to music. The hot tub was so relaxing and the house had great decor and amenities including a record player that we enjoyed. We loved our stay and I would highly recommend this place to others! The place is so clean and newly renovated. It was hard to leave. We loved every minute of our stay. I feel blessed that we found this place when i was searching for a fun get-away for my husband's birthday. He loved it.

I hate to give such an awesome review because then everyone will want to stay there and it'll be too booked up for me to go!! I was literally trying to book it again right after I checked out and pulled out of the driveway!! This rental is just perfect!!! I have never stayed at a rental where every single thing was so perfect! The rental was very clean and not a single thing out of place. The decor was beautiful! This place is much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. It was so adorable that I wanted to stay in every room! The hot tub was great...easy to remove the lid and the temperature just right! They had a bowl of snacks in the kitchen for guests. I could go on and on about this rental!! I will definitely be back there!

Growing pains

So … still haven’t received refund so buyer beware - was supposed to be renting house but double booked somehow and we ended up in a 1 bed 1 bath attached guest quarter which was clean and nice BUT no privacy since door is attached to house and could hear other occupants as clear as day (I’m sure they could hear us too). Also the main house controls the AC. Understand there is a new owner but this was a bad idea and should have never happened. We cancelled through Expedia and paid a smaller balance to property manager but cancellation was too late and Expedia kept out money. Property manager has not responded to our request at all for a refund of this money since we paid cash of a lesser amount.
