I didnt like how when we checked in the place was dirty. The sheets on the bed wasnt washed, loud noises from the other ppl at late nite hrs, the back door to the patio (the lock is broken) everytime we left outside to go out and when we come back door was open n ppl came inside i dont know why? Or for what reason i dont know. But, i never left any valuables in there to steal. Was told i was gonna be reimbursed for a dinner and never was reimbursed.

Great Location & Great Owner!

Our family of 3 recently stayed at this apartment for 4 days to visit my brother, who lives in Queens. From the moment we booked the reservation till the day we left the owner (France) was helpful, attentive & always available! We arrived, by car, the day after a huge snow storm in NY...she was shoveling snow to make sure we could park our car. She had bus, subway & general neighborhood info that was super handy! We also liked the fact that the apartment is fenced in...just helped us feel a lil safer. The location of the apartment was perfect for us: close to major streets for driving, a block away (walking) from a bus stop which made it easy to get into the City. Was also convenient to have a market, Dunkin Donuts & pizza place a block away (by bus stop). The apartment itself was the perfect size for us & had everything we needed. Was surprised by the generous size of the bedroom for a small apartment in NY...it was nice! There was ONLY one disappointing thing about our experience: the cleanliness of the bedroom. The linens on the bed/linens in the closet did not appear clean & the bedroom floor had not been swept well...especially under the bed, which wouldn't have been a big deal except my daughter's sippy cup rolled under the bed & retrieving it was a little gross. I did bring this issue up with the owner & she assured me she witnessed the apartment being cleaned & the linens washed properly by the housekeeper; she also stated she was going to speak with the housekeeper about the matter. Overall though, I would recommend this apartment...the pros outweighed the cons.

Mother & Daughter Getaway - Brion/Pinto Family

This is my 2nd time staying at this apartment. This place feels like home. The homeowners are very accommodating. I highly recommend this apartment. The apartment is clean & the neighborhood is very safe. We came home late every night & felt very safe walking in the neighborhood. Thank you so much David & Asaf. Looking forward to coming back to visit again!

Great place great experience

The owner, David, is wonderful! So helpful with any questions. I stayed because I was attending the US Open. Close to venue either by shared ride or public transportation. It's a mini apartment with small kitchen and living area with separate bedroom. A market within a block to get groceries and can make food on stove or microwave. Small patio area for a morning coffee to enjoy the time outside or evening beverage under the stars. Only thing to knoe is bathroom is very small but it works for the short visit. Great experience, and would stay again, and actually hope to next year. I would give a 5 but normally don't because there is always room for improvement where or whatever one is dealing with.

Compact Comfort at a Reasonable Cost

Very clean efficiency apartment but be prepared for close quarters in the bathroom. Host are very accommodating but be sure to check accuracy of address when communicating with hosts. Has grocery and drug (METRO tickets) stores nearby (walking distance). Very convenient location for activities at:1) BJK tennis center, 2) METS (Citi-Field) & 3) plays/musicals downtown via bus, subway & Uber.

The apartment was clean with comfortable beds, good air conditioning, no odors, hot shower, nice open feel with windows and deck, privacy fence around whole yard with pretty landscaping, safe and quiet neighborhood, short walk to grocery store, convenient well lighted free parking, easy access, TV?? (ask owner to turn it on for you, we never figured it out). The only negative might be the very small toilet area which could be difficult for someone who is large or physically challenged. Overall we were pleased and would choose it again. Enjoyed it much more than a hotel stay.

Een aanrader!

Wij man/vrouw hebben een week NY vanuit dit appartement. De bus naar de metro is op 5 minuten loopafstand. Met de metro is Manhattan goed bereikbaar. Je bent wel iets lager onderweg maar het geeft je wel rust om s.avonds in de buitenwijk Queens te zijn. De eigenaar is zeer klantgericht en wil je overal mee helpen. Geeft leuke tips! De woning is schoon, eenvoudig en prima ingericht. Wij hebben heerlijk buiten in de ruime tuin kunnen ontbijten. We vinden het een echte aanrader en de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Hierdoor wordt een week NY betaalbaarder omdat de prijzen in Manhattan aanzienlijk hoger liggen. Veel plezier!

really nice place

Stay at this place in december. Its was really nice place for affordable price. Everything was great. Owner even let me use his car shelter in the yard. He explain what i can find around and give me handdrawed map for stores around that place. If ever i will go back to NY, queens, deffinatly will try to stay here again.

The Brion Family

My family & I stayed at this apartment for 6 days & it was fabulous. Very nice apartment & the owners are great. The neighborhood is nice & safe. It truly is 10 minute walk to the subway & 20 mins from Times Square. I highly recommend this place.
