Was very impressed with the place. The loft was really nice. Several places to eat and enjoy some nightlife. Had a great evening. Would definitely recommend.
Everything was exactly as described. Location is perfect near great shops and restaurants. Will definitely use again. Owner super nice and great communicator.
This is such a great property! This is the second time we have rented and will definitely be back again in the future! The location is excellent for walking to shops and restaurants. Clean and adorably decorated. The host is wonderful about communication and any help you need. Highly recommend!!
This home worked great for our family to get together and enjoy one of the neighborhoods that makes Louisville such a special city. Nothing negative to report!
Our second stay with Tyler. Clean, roomy, well equipped. Great neighborhood. Foodie heaven, shopping. Hit The Irish Rover for bangers and mash this time. Will be back! Don’t miss the Blue Dog bakery.
6 of us girls stayed here for a Bachelorette party. Any questions i had were answered promptly. The whole experience staying here was very nice & Tyler is an amazing host! I recommend this VRBO.
We were in town for a volleyball tournament which this was 15 min from the Expo Center but we had time to enjoy the great restaurants on the street. The accommodations were as expected. Just know the parking space is tight. Our Durango fit but our truck would not have. Communication was always timely.
property. Great location. Walking distance to food and shops. Very clean. Host was very quick to respond and very helpful. Will definitely book again when visiting Louisville. Would recommend to anyone
4 of us stayed here for the weekend. My only real complaint is the parking. The assigned parking spot is a VERY tight squeeze if you’re in a large vehicle.
Hotel prices for 2 rooms are insane so we always look into a short term vacation rental. I would recommend staying here for anyone! We had to have a place to go that we could come in late and get up early and leave. My Girl Scout troop loved it! Clean, comfortable, you could easily take a larger troop and sleep comfortably! The Host was amazing and I will recommend him for every stay in Louisville!
We were traveling through from MI to TN and stayed one night here. It was perfect for our family of 5. Great restaurants within walking distance, and our young adult kids enjoyed the air hockey table and games. Our kids said they could live there ;) Beds were comfortable, we appreciated the coffee, fans, and nice decor. Communication with the host was excellent.
We all enjoyed our stay and the boys especially enjoyed the air hockey. The apartment was clean and comfortable and roomy.
The only thing I think might be a drawback for someone who has mobility issues is the stairs to reach the apartment which are on the steep side.
Overall, we would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our time in Kentucky. Quiet, clean home close to everything. I realized I forgot to run the dishwasher when we left which was the only check task asked of me and I feel terrible about that. Some places have a list of check out tasks. Thank you Tyler for your hospitality.

About the host
Hosted by Rineeth Challagundla
Hi there! I’m Rineeth, your host. I’m an Ohio native and have spent the last three years hosting in the Louisville area — it’s a city I’ve come to genuinely love, and one of my favorite parts of hosting is pointing guests toward the places that make it worth visiting. In my free time you’ll find me at the gym, out on a hiking trail, traveling somewhere new, or tracking down a restaurant I haven’t tried yet. I care about the details: a bed you actually sleep well in, a kitchen that’s truly stocked, and a space that feels considered rather than generic. I like to give guests their space, but I’m always just a message away if you need anything at all. Looking forward to hosting you!
Why they chose this property
Clifton is the Louisville neighborhood I’d send a first-time visitor to. Frankfort Avenue runs right through it, lined with independent restaurants, coffee shops, record stores, and bourbon bars — you can walk out the door and have a genuinely great meal within a few blocks, whether that’s a smash burger, a plate of mussels, or a proper bourbon flight. What I love is that it’s a real neighborhood, not a tourist strip. Historic homes, mature trees, people walking dogs in the evening. You get the walkability and the food scene without the noise of downtown, and you’re still a short drive from the Highlands, NuLu, and everything downtown has to offer.
What makes this property unique
The two-story loft layout is genuinely rare in a Louisville rental. You get a full main level with a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom with two queen beds, then a spiral staircase up to a private retreat with a king bedroom, a lounge space, and balcony access. That separation means a group of six can actually spread out instead of stepping over each other kids downstairs, adults upstairs, or two couples with real privacy. Two full bathrooms means no morning traffic jam. Add smart TVs in every main room with complimentary Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+, an air hockey table, a private balcony, and a location where the whole Frankfort Avenue food scene is walkable, and it works equally well for a family trip, a friends’ weekend, or a couple who just wants room to breathe.
