We loved our stay in this very cute VRBO. The house was the perfect size for two people, with plenty of room for relaxing and feeling at home. We really enjoyed the back deck that overlooked the river. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The bed was very comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet. It was also in the perfect location. It was only a short five minute walk to restaurants downtown. The neighborhood was also beautiful with all the flowers. We chose the location because it was close to Silver Falls State Park, and it was an easy drive to get there. I would highly recommend this getaway, and would not hesitate to stay here again.
Cozy lil home located within walking distance to variety of restaurants and bars. Vintage shopping within walking distance too. Cute lil park around the corner.
We were there to help my son work on his house. Enjoyed the food downtown. Good communication with our host over a couple of issues that popped up. We will be back.
Seamless check in and check out process. Centrally located near everything. Lovely little creek running behind it. The house is very comfortable. Has everything you need for your stay.
It was relaxing and perfectly located. The house was perfect with little touches that didn’t go unnoticed. If you are thinking about the house, do not hesitate, it will not disappoint.
Cozy, quaint cottage in a great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants in Silverton. Tastefully decorated and nicely updated kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable! A nice, quiet neighborhood and peaceful back deck overlooking the creek.
This utterly charming small home on the creekside in Silverton, OR was a great pick for exploring nearby Silver Falls State Park. Very comfy bed, plenty of hot water, clean and only a block from downtown Silverton. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We had coffee and drinks by the creek every day. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved the cabin- it’s clean, modern, simply and tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed to feel at home. We enjoyed the sights and sounds of the creek in the backyard and the location was amazing! Just a block from downtown, we enjoyed having everything within walking distance. There was even a sweet farmers market on Saturday just at the corner church parking lot. Overall 10/10! We will definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay in Silverton, and for just 2 - 3 people, this is a really great place to stay. Our favorite part was waking up and having breakfast on the back deck over the river. Just beautiful and relaxing. We were lucky to have great weather while in the area.It was really nice to walk 100 yards and we were downtown, with many restaurants and shops from which to choose. We have family out in the country northeast of Silverton, as well as family and friends all around Salem, so this was the perfect location to be in the middle of everyone. The neighbors are nice, and the area feels safe. We were very happy staying here.
What initially attracted us to this cottage was the deck that overlooks the creek. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how charming and comfortable the cottage turned out to be. There were so many thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience. As for cleanliness, it was immaculate! The hardwood floors sparkled, the shower was spotless, and the kitchen was equipped with every cooking gadget you might need, including a variety of spices. We spent a lot of time relaxing outside, and when it rained, we retreated to the sunroom. We opened the doors and still enjoy the ambiance, just like sitting on the deck, but sheltered from the weather. The neighborhood is a delightful mix of homes that have largely been restored to their original quirkiness, or a new take on the old. It covers just three blocks, making it perfect for evening strolls. We also went through the park with its tree-lined trails, crossed the creek bridge, and enjoyed a circular route through town. The historic downtown area is only a block away, so restaurants are practically at your doorstep. The food options are diverse, ranging from creekside dining at the Tea Leaf—where their breakfast is to die for—to the Noble Fox, which has the cozy ambiance of an English pub. Their roasted Brussels sprouts are absolutely incredible! Even the food truck court! Situated next to the creek, comfy rocking chairs, well-manicured grass, a fire pit, and great food!Would we go back? We’ve already booked our next two stays!
