Snowy Mountain Retreat! Private Sledding

Come spend the winter at our fully-updated cabin in the woods! We're just above the snow line so you will experience gently-falling snow right outside your window. We are the closest neighborhood to Bear Valley for skiing, and our private lot is perfect for sledding! We are great for families and young kids.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please load and start the dishwasher before leaving! Used towels can be left in the bathrooms.
Turn NEST thermostat back to 55 and lock up, turning off all lights and any electric baseboard heaters.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We are happy to accommodate pets. However, we have had problems in the past. Therefore, if a pet leaves a mess we WILL charge you accordingly.

We had a wonderful stay at Amanda's home! She was super communicative, the Adirondack chairs on the deck were magical to sit and look over the trees, and we enjoyed the well-stocked and cozy atmosphere! Will be back next summer!

Very clean and inviting home with loads of privacy. Literally 6 mins from Calaveras Big Trees state park. Our family of six felt like we were staying at relative’s house. The kitchen was pristine and well stocked as well as the bathrooms. The beds were all clean and comfortable with an abundance of extra pillows and blankets as needed. Amanda was the best at responding and was such a flexible and gracious host. Overall, my family had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to highly recommend this cabin! A++!!!

Absolutely loved our stay! The home was beautifully decorated, and even better than the photos. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared — from the cozy linens to the fully stocked kitchen. The location was perfect: peaceful and close to everything we needed. Amanda was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything for a comfortable stay. We felt right at home and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free getaway!

Great cozy place!

We loved our stay! We had a fire in the fireplace, walked around the neighborhood, and even sledded right in the yard! The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, wifi was fast and the smart TV was great. The space was perfect for a romantic getaway and our dog loved it! Nice and secluded, very close to Arnold and all skiing/snow park activities. Will DEFINITELY be back!

Great winter wonderland

Check in was at 4p we arrived at 2:30p was able to call the property manager and check in early. The cabin was clean and all of the amenities looked newly updated. The cabin was really nice inside and out. I loved that we could sled and play in the snow right there on the property. They had pots and pans, coffee maker and even a washer/dryer. I will definitely be staying again.

The house was fine and the kitchen is well stocked. The information for check in needs to be more complete re the keypad and the key needed to get in. Thankfully I asked about it before we got there and we were able to get in.
