Wonderful weekend trip

This place was amazing. I would give 6 stars if I could. My family stayed here this past weekend for a wedding in Banner Elk. The place was very clean when we arrived. The owners were very accommodating and communicated extremely well. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking in this area.

Perfect stay. They thought of everything, seriously everything.

Without a doubt, this property ranks among our top VRBO experiences thus far. Nestled perfectly between Boone and Banner Elk, its location couldn't be more ideal. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a clean, spacious environment that truly feels like a home away from home. Ruthie and her family have left no stone unturned in ensuring every amenity is provided for guests' comfort and convenience. The entire deck and outdoor spaces are new and pretty impressive. Teens and kids will love the downstairs area outfitted with a pool table / ping ping table, television and a large couch for lounging. The Seven Devils community, where the property is situated, is very private and offers access via a short walk to a range of recreational facilities, including pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts. While enjoying a coffee on the front deck, wildlife sightings are abundant, adding an extra touch of charm to an already delightful stay. Our family would 100% recommend this property for a great stay.

Bachelorette's Trip Success!

My friends and I stayed at this location for my bachelorette trip and we hardly left the place! It was cozy, homey and our hosts were extremely accommodating. I will absolutely be back to stay with them in the future, I loved this place so much!!!

Great family home

The views were amazing. I loved all of the natural light — very bright house. The kitchen was well equipped. It was so nice to have communal living spaces in two levels— it let us spread out and playing pool and ping pong was lots of fun. Host was very responsive and helpful. We were very comfortable. It as a great house for us and our 3 a young adult kids. The location was convenient to a lot of things to do. It was obvious that the host put a lot of thought into providing everything you might want while on vacation!

Our family loves to travel, and we've been known for some extensive itineraries; however, we always love coming to the NC mountains every year, so we decided to put down some roots with this second home. Our children are getting older & have travel sports commitments, so we are sharing our home with you when we can't use it.

We bought this home because of the mountain & valley panoramic views, the Grandfather Mountain profile view, the amazing sunrises, the central location, and so many ways to have fun on the property and nearby!

What makes this property unique

★INFO & RULES:
-Quiet Hours 10 PM - 7 AM
-Only negative feedback we've had: shower heads are "low" for guests 5'10" + & you need to bend down to wash hair - We hope to remodel.
-Leave it like you found it & we are Happy Hosts!
-Reservation system sends emails
-Approved "Minut" Decibel-Monitoring Sensors help enforce noise ordinances/no parties: If exceeded, it sends up to 3 text & call warnings, followed by termination of stay w/o refund. One monitor on Covered Patio above HotTub & 1 monitor on back porch (both outside-only).
-Camera: records audio/video 24/7: floodlight @ front door, & records porch/driveway, exterior only
-Requires Stairs
-Potential Noise: *Some trucks heard; Wind can be loud; Live music @ Vineyard heard from outside; cabin has creaks
-Wildlife: black bears, foxes, deer, turkeys, hawks, snakes, spiders, etc. live nearby! Keep away/don't feed/clean up spills/keep trash in bins & home/auto doors locked. No refunds for animals or lack of. Pest control monthly
-HotTub has NO fence: Within-reach supervision mandatory under 13; Remind kids rules/respect
-Shower before Hot Tub & follow rules. Fee to Drain/Refill due to misuse: $100
-DO NOT access lower yard: steep grade & grassy septic area
-Take dogs toilet by road & pickup/bag/tie waste, & throw in LINED trashcan - Cleaners charge $25 "per pile"
-Amenities tested 5/2024 not guaranteed: B.Y.O. items if something important. Max refund=Mgmt./Amenity Fee of $25.00 (built-into rate) & we repair before refund
-Please clean spills & re-cover outdoor amenities. Propane tank can be exchanged at the gas station in 7D & contact host w/ receipt
