Our family loves to travel, and we've been known for some extensive itineraries; however, we always love coming to the NC mountains every year for the last 40+ years, so we decided to put down some roots with this second home. Our children are getting older & have travel sports commitments, so we are sharing our home with you when we can't use it.

-Wildlife: black bears, foxes, deer, turkeys, hawks, snakes, spiders, etc. live here! Keep away/don't feed/clean up spills/trash in bins & home/auto doors locked. No refunds for animals or lack of. Pest control is monthly
-Watch children/Remind kids rules/respect
-HotTub: NO fence Within-reach supervision under 13
-Shower before HotTub.
-DO NOT access lower yard=SEPTIC AREA
-Take dogs toilet on road & pickup/bag/tie waste, & place in LINED dog waste can.
-Amenities test 1/2025; not guaranteed: B.Y.O. if important. We repair/reclean before refund
-Clean spills & re-cover amenities. Propane tank exchange @ gas station with receipt
-Disabling electronics = cancellation +
-Decks icy during winter-caution
-No climbing/sitting/walking on deck RAILS/dangerous use
-Nothing roasted inside fireplace/no burning things=ruins logs & ANY tampering to logs = cancellation+

-No smoking/Vaping anything, anywhere

-Approved "Minut" Decibel-Monitor Sensor deters parties/noisy groups: If loud it sends up to 3 texts & calls, then termination of stay w/o refund. 1 monitor on Patio above HotTub & 1 monitor on back Porch.
-Cameras: records audio/video 24/7 exterior-only @ (1) floodlight @ front records door/driveway & (2) lower porch stairs
