We had 8 ladies that stayed at this property. It is an absolutely wonderful home and very well stocked with all the kitchen essentials. Scott was very responsive to my emails and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this property.
This is a beautiful home. We enjoyed the property and the house has all accommodations you need. Gorgeous yard. Exceptional host. Will be booking this again in the future. Definitely a 10 out of 10!
This property was lovely and the owner was excellent with communication. The kitchen was well equipped, which is always important to me. I would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful. Spacious. Secluded yet close to many opportunities for adventure! Our family’s third stay in this house. We love it! Great memories made! Scott is a great host. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well maintained. Had everything we needed and more. Susan and Danny
This is a very clean and well appointed property. Everyone enjoyed walking around the pond and watching the frogs jump in. The house is set back from the road and feels very private. It was very easy to talk to Scott, the owner. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
We once again had a fabulous experience staying at this property. The owner is very responsive. The house is clean and well maintained. We really love that the property is flat and easy to access without 4 wheel drive (and this is the second time we’ve stayed there on a weekend it snowed!). The proximity to blowing rock and activities in the area is perfect. We will definitely stay here again in the future!
Great place to stay. So close to everything you want or need, yet secluded and peaceful. Host could not have been better, very communicative and quick to respond. I feel confident they would have handle any issue quickly if we had come up with one. Want to recommend, yet would like to keep it a secret :)
This house was perfect, and even prettier in person. My parents in their 60's complimented the details and comfortable bedding, My spouse and I loved how spread out the space was, My teenager loved the downstairs retreat, my 10 year old loved ping pong and eating outside on the large covered porch, and our dog loved the pond and creek on the property. This house was the perfect cozy mountain get away, complete with a warm fireplace and light dusting of snow during our stay. Scott was a very communicable host, and we hope to stay again sometime!
All three king-size beds were amazing. It’s hard to find rentals with great mattresses. We cooked dinner in every night and we had plenty of dishes, pots and pans to cook. The Washer, dryer and refrigerator are all brand new. The front yard was perfect for the kids to play. The location was also amazing. A mile from beautiful hikes and easy access to restaurants and grocery shopping. We would stay here again. The owner was a great communicator and check in was smooth
We stayed Thanksgiving weekend with all of our family. We were greeted by an otter in the pond and enjoyed seeing the wildlife all around the neighborhood. The open concept on the main floor was perfect for family time. The large dining table was perfect and the kitchen was very well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the kids stayed in the room that shared a bath with their parents. We also enjoyed the fire pit for s’mores. Downstairs required a space heater, but it was workable. It was a memorable weekend with family!
The kitchen was large and well equipped, except the coffee maker did not work. Separate dinning table area off the kitchen with large table, which worked well for our group.Comfortable sofas facing tv and fireplace. A soundbar would help on the tv. Owner communicated well with us.House was very clean and neat with comfortable beds.
Our family of 7 had a wonderful time at Scott’s Place, We were there for our son’s graduation from App State and this property was an easy trip into Boone, and also into Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. Property size was perfect to spread out and we really enjoyed the large porch & listening to the frogs in the pond at night, it was very peaceful! Would definitely stay here again! Scott was a wonderful host and easy to communicate with.
Our host Scott was very nice communicated well through out our stay. Nice place very close to places you want to visit. Place was clean thank you Scott. Will visit again.
Scott was a great host, very communicative. Very family and kid friendly. Kids had the most fun. Property is more beautiful than it appears in pictures. Highly recommend
Our extended family wanted to go to the mtns after Thanksgiving, since we all live in different cities. The property was perfect for our needs. The location could not have been better and the layout ideal.. so incredibly clean, and the beds were comfy! . Scott, the owner was there when we arrived, and is just the perfect host. Definitely would recommend this property to anyone looking for a mountain trip.
